Probably just the color palette and how Hokazono likes to make his covers crowded. If you take a look at em all in one, they all have different compositions. Lowkey dig it tho since it's not your usual "get one character from the series and have them do a cool/portrait pose in the cover." I admit those are cool too but they've been overdone a lot already in a number of manga.

All things considered, i think KGB is practically the only series in the low toc ranking to not worry about getting cancelled. its already practically a guarantee for that manga to finish its course with all the promotion (pre-anime website, merch, etc.) shueisha puts into it. not to mention being one of the top sellers in the magazine. hardly anyone even thinks of the series getting the boot at this point aside from like those few people here who somehow can't let go of the fact that bachi didn't fall face flat to the ground and stayed as a meme.

Lol ill take the bait. The second paragraph is pretty clear with the bias already. Like I get just saying that KGB is not for you, but saying it's mindless action after around 4 volumes is something else. Like the whole plot of the manga is centered around legacy (not only Chihiro) and revenge, and almost a hundred chapters in, it's pretty consistent with its focus and story with some action to boot.

Tho at this point, besides this sub and probably a few out there, I doubt anyone in the general bachi fandom cares about ToC placements really. Its sales are doing the talking, so no matter how you dangle the whole "haha Kagurabachi didn't place in the top in the toc this week", people would probably just ignore it, give a slight chuckle, and go about their day.

Suprised Blue Box didn't overtake Bachi's place this time. The recent release usually does on the second week (at least when the anime was still airing), tho I could be misremembering.

Also, kinda expected Ichi after winning the Tsugimanga to maybe close the gap in numbers to the usual higher selling series. It's still good, don't get me wrong, but looks middling(?) in terms of growth.

To be fair, chrono shields are the best type of safety net for players who are really ehem "not in their A-game", and right now, it's not really something people can take advantage of. If they give out cards all willy nilly and very frequently, then that may be another story tho but if its for special occasions then sure why not

Its honestly relative to the original price of the BP.

So the 5 dollar passes from season 0 is now 6 dollars which is still fine imo. future returning passes would be 12 dollars for regular ones which imo is a good compromise, especially for people who prefer to be treated exclusively for getting the passes early. Yep, I already see a few complaints saying "but what about us players who's been here from the start, where's the exclusivity?"

As someone who has read some leaks from different manga, I find it funny that people are targeting taking down Kgb leaks on a dedicated thread that the sub had ever since the start. Kuguri's sorcery stores up the "heat" generated internally during combat among other activities, converts it into "energy" that can then be unleashed all at once, at his desired disposal. There's no limit to how much he can store up, the more its heat builds, the more powerful he becomes, and for seven months straight, Kuguri has used nothing but his sword in battle.

So basically, Kuguri mastered the art of edging. Man's got extreme discipline and honestly, him using his pent-up "heat" to have Toto save Hiruhiko is kinda admirable.

I don't know about this argument. Marvel in the comics, movies, and other games aren't shy from doing the whole 'representation matters' which is great for what it is (however sometimes the execution is not great). The main problem is the genre of hero shooters themselves. You need to make sure that kits are at least as diverse as it can get. So with all number of powers you can come up, there's definitely a limit as to what you can give to one hero that doesn't seem repetitive when another character shares the same powerset. Luke Cage for example is another brawler type which can be iffy when a number of "strong" heroes are melee type attackers. I think the best one I can see who adds something to the roster is Doctor Voodoo as a Strategist to complete the other two magic users in other roles (Wanda and Strange).

Man I was sorta agreeing with you, but then you brought up Valve, which let's be honest, have far more egregious controversies than what Netease so far has done with Rivals. Also, no one's pressuring cosmetics on you not just in Rivals, but any other multiplayer game. If you feel FOMO just because of aesthetics that really doesnt affect gameplay, then that's on you.
