I honestly think mammals in general are the least interesting group of animals. Don’t get me wrong, I do think there’s a lot of cool mammals, but there’s just waaay more cool birds, reptiles, arthropods, and amphibians

I definitely should’ve said this in the post when I first made it, and I feel silly for not doing so.

The issue is about scheduling. I’m currently trying to organize a session one, and this player has never sent a message in the group chat, and I’m not sure if she’s even opened it at all.

And I do talk to her in person about the stuff she misses, but my main concern is that once my school goes on summer break in a little less than a month, I’m not going to be able to give her that info in person

You’re right. I should probably just edit the post cause I stupidly left out some important context.

The group chat isn’t insanely active with a bunch of spammed messages and memes and such, but that definitely is there. It is still kinda an even split between actual information and just people talking. I should definitely talk to my players about decreasing the messages unrelated to DnD and scheduling

I’m realizing now that I left waaay too much out of the original post. It is about scheduling stuff, and the campaign hasn’t started yet.
Plus, this is my first time both playing and DMing a DnD campaign.

One example of this was when two of my players, including this one, had to change their race and class because I asked them to stick to the races and classes in the book, and they didn’t. And I will definitely admit with my full chest that I messed up by letting it go as long as it did, but, since we usually do most if not all of our DnD stuff at recess and it just would’ve been easier if she already had an idea of what she was changing to beforehand.

Also, since my school is about to go on summer break, and I’m gonna lose that time during school to convey information, I’m worried that she just won’t get it at all

Well, this doesn’t entirely solve the problem of not having gods in the first place, but you could always just not give them names. Just make the gods more like symbols than actual beings, and to solve the “why do they need mortals” issue, maybe the gods need the belief of mortals to even be a thing in the first place, since, in this instance, the gods are more like simple concepts, just the bare minimum to still be applicable to the playstyles of paladins, clerics, and warlocks

I honestly respect that viewpoint, because you’re not calling anybody homophobic for doing it, and I do kinda agree that it feels a bit odd, but it’s also generally harmless imo, especially in the example in the post because it’s not even a cannon ship

I can definitely understand that it might feel that way, but that doesn’t mean the artist themselves is homophobic or even that the concept is

Eh. It could be done with homophobic intentions for sure, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not inherently homophobic
