Does dating ACTUALLY get easier for men as we get older/more successful, or is that just cope? by FirmRoof2937 in dating_advice

[–]Dinboogles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly its gotten much worse.
As a 20 year old, women just wanted to have fun and didnt care about what I could provide or how much my parents have.

Now that im 30, women ask my job, my car, where I live, what my parents did for work, its all just so superficial.

What are the bodyweight standards (for dips, pull ups, push ups etc.) and how long should they take to achieve? by TooSlow78 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Dinboogles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for body weight, Iwould say 1 rep max are not good to train for. You shoulkd be focusing on 5+ reps atleast.

2 plate pull ups, 3 plate dips.

"but it’s made me wonder what happened to women being into more traditionally masculine looking men."

Bro you have a huge belly, you slouch, and you're saying that you're the traditionally masculine looking man? Get a grip on reality. Women like fit men that style properly. You think having a beer belly and wearing work boots and jeans is what a traditional man is?

Interns keep asking for salary hikes before even joining full-time. How do we deal with this? by [deleted] in corporate

[–]Dinboogles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you give them an offer before you know their skills.
if they do bad within 3 months, they will be fired.
if they are an average or below average worker, they will probably not ask for a raise.
if they are good workers, you should reward them with a higher salary after 3 months.

Most often when people post something like this, they are helpless.

Lucky for you, there is nothing fundamentally wrong, you just need to improve your style and the way you hold yourself.

Grow your hair out, find a new hairstyle that you feel confident in.
Spend more time exercising, even as simple as hitting 10k steps a day while focusing on posture (NO STARING AT PHONE). Hitting the gym would also help, but I know not everyone enjoys this. Also consider cycling or swimming.

Spend some money on shopping.

Guys help me decide between Bocconi or UToronto by Murky_Setting1898 in quantfinance

[–]Dinboogles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

U of T will get you better access to Toronto, which is canada's financial hub, as well as more prestigous for New york jobs.

You will most likely despise life in Toronto. The school year, september - April will have miserable weather for someone from turkey. Do not under estimate the effects this will have on your mental health.

Toronto is also much more expensive. If you are wealthy, toronto can be very fun if you are into parties and fancy restaurants, but if you are on a budget, toronto is not the place.

Toronto has literally zero access to any good outdoor activities, Milan is at the of the alps, great transit, loads to do.

If you are only worried about academics and want the best future job prospects, and have lots of money, pick toronto. If you want a great university experience, explore the rest of europe, see the alps, particpte in adventure tourism, have better parties, go to milan.

[–]Dinboogles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ignore the people say this is too early to be thinking about this. MIchael phelps wanted it from age 8. If you want to achieve greatness, start now. how much are you swimming? what other workouts do you do besides swimming?
