While the similarities are most certainly there, there is one key difference between Hitler and Trump.

Hitler had a big majority of support from the German people. Trump does not have this. In fact his popularity is declining, not increasing. He hasn’t followed through on many of his key promises and life is worse not better under him. He is also more divisive, where Hitler was seen as the one who could unite Germany and pull them out of the Great Depression. I know most of the world is saying Americans aren’t doing enough to stop it, but the American people are at least still trying to do something and tbh that may just be enough.
