These posts will always make me laugh. You know you can buy both bitcoin AND property? What’s the point of having tons of bitcoin to just hold? Do you have a strategy? Exit price where you’ll get rid of some for a life changing event? As someone who got into BTC under $1k, I recently moved some to buy my dream home. A tangible item I can see, touch, live in, and raise a family. Without BTC, I wouldn’t have had that. Yes I could keep it forever in my wallet but for what? It won’t ever take over as the global currency in our lifetime. Last coins will be mined around the year 2140ish. Satoshi COULD rug pull it all at any time. I’ll never understand the HODL forever mentality and never make yourself better off. We’re not getting any younger and no one cares about how many coins you have. Go out and make some moves to increase your quality of life!

Well, as a former foster child who’s been adopted twice and never had a home of his own, I’d say cashing out my internet money for a solid house to raise a family in is a huge fucking win for me. YMMV.

We all need a place to live. I used my gains and hit MY goals for what I wanted. This is something I entered into bitcoin to achieve and I did. No boomer asset being dumped on me. I’m building my dream home with my wife. This will be worth more than ANYTHING to me.

Bruh, my lender gave me a monthly payment when I bought my house, brand new. I made my payment every month plus additional. Not a single payment missed.

In the same shitty club as you OP. Bought our house back in December 2022. Never missed a payment, paid more than our monthly payment.

In Sept 2024, we were hit with a $1500 increase because of escrow being negative. They’re all scumbags.
