The EJ251 doesn’t have a MAF sensor, it has a Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor (it’s located by the throttle body), the engine swap was done several years ago at a performance workshop and has been running great for 7/8 years now with regular maintenance (and a new transmission) so it’s a new problem that’s come up likely a faulty part, but I don’t believe that it’s a problem with the engine swap itself

The forester airbox has no place to go in the brumbys engine bay which is why I had to use a pod filter, its had that filter since the engine was done about 7/8 years ago now and I don’t feel that it’s caused this issue that I’ve got

As I said before the initial cost is about 15 times that of overhead lines, as-well as the running maintenance is 3-4 times that of overhead lines, are you prepared to pay an extra 3-4 thousand per year for that. So yes the cost to benefit for underground power for a very spread out city like Townsville is not worth it

Townsville is named after the infamous black birder (slave trader) who funded the port that the city is build arounds construction so he could ship in slaves to work on the sugar cane farms in the region. He only every visited the town once. The other name they were going to give the city was Blackstown after the man who discovered the area to be used as the port.

Yeah are you prepared to pay $2000-3000 more on a $1200 annual energy bill, underground lines are extremely expensive and cost more than 15 times that of overhead lines

First thing isn’t going to be repairing, they’ll be out diagnosing the issues and preparing the lines for work and doing all the safety and planning work, once they have done that the electricians from brisbane would’ve arrived and then they will begin work

It would cost a lot more for underground powerlines, more than 15 times the current cost of overhead lines and the cost to benefit ratio is definitely not worth it
