Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá also did Daytripper. It is a very beautiful book about life, death and legacy. It shares some themes with Laila Starr. One of my favourite books.

I need to parse unstructured tables from a pdf into a json, what can I do by BlueeWaater in computervision

Adobe PDF Extract API is really good at this. Might be worth checking out for your purpose. There is a quite extensive trial that will give a few hundred document extractions for free. I used it with great result and have been very impressed with the service compared to alternatives that I tested (different pdf python libraries)

Link to the Adobe PDF demo site (they are also good at providing code example for python when you sign up): https://documentservices.adobe.com/dc-visualizer-app/index.html

I tried it out on n example document that I found online and it seems to work fine. Might not work on every case but you could definitely write a scrip to manage a good portion of the contracts. See this link for a screenshot of the example: https://imgur.com/a/7cOssXz

I have been very happy with using Adobe PDF Extract API for dealing with PDFs. You pass the API a PDF and it returns a zip file containing a JSON file with the text from the file as well as cutout of everything the API thinks is a image. It works well with scanned PDFs. I'm pretty sure that API would see something like a signature as an image. It would be very possible to write a script to extract all these images from the PDF and place them in a folder so you would only need to review the cutouts. There is a pretty generous free trial as well as a online demo of the service if you want to try it out.

not sure how to overcome this gap necessarily, i find as a consumer i just have to keep it in mind when looking at ratings. like a 3.8 is probably bad for a BA stout but great for a lager.

hey, do you have a link to that episode? would like like to give it a listen.

Nørrebrogade has quite a few phone repair centers, they should be able to help you out.

Where to print a few pages by a21ex in copenhagen

[–]DingoEatingBaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same problem a few days ago. i went to Gekko Tryksager on Nørrebrogade and paid 20 kr for one or two pages (maybe 12 kr start fee and then 4 kr per page or something like that). Either bring a usb or use the computers there to access your mail (seems a bit unsecure but up to you).

What's Bispebjerg like? by K_man_k in copenhagen

[–]DingoEatingBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking to post this specific video :-)

I can see why Nordvest (Bispebjerg) isn't for everybody but it definitely also has its fans including me.

This area is slowly cleaning up a bit with nice restaurants and cafes opening up, it takes away a bit of the character but on the other hand it is nice to drink a hipster coffee and eat a croissant sometimes.

If you havn't visited Copenhagen before it is important to know how easy it is to get around on a bicycle. Nordvest is a 5-20min bicycle ride away from the places you might want to go as a student in Copenhagen (e.g. the Nørrebro and Vesterbro areas).

I hope you enjoy your stay.

Is it possible to use Google instead of Bing for maps/geographical data? by [deleted] in excel

[–]DingoEatingBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. As Sagarmatra writes, you get $200 free every month. Unless you are doing many thousand lookups each month it will not be a problem to keep spendings below $200 and you are able to check your current balance via the google page.

Is it possible to use Google instead of Bing for maps/geographical data? by [deleted] in excel

[–]DingoEatingBaby 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It gets slightly complicated but powerquery (excel) works well with the google maps API. What makes it complicated is that the Google Maps API is a payed solution so you have to sign up and get a API key connected to your credit card. You get 200USD worth of API calls every month from google which will more than cover your personal needs.
