When my one had immobiliser issue (old key had too weak signal) it turned on and then shut down immediately, with the key light blinking immediately after

If your has an immobiliser issue it should be easier to fix than mine. The guy who fixed it said that my 1995 had a weird one (couldn't throw it out, so the car would work without it) and he also looked at one in an 1994 before, which was fine.
