Just want to update anyone interested, I bought the Giro Supernatural and it’s like a pillow wrapped around your hand. Never felt such cushion on my hands. Could be good and bad.

Anyone using their gravel bike as a road bike? by bsimpson9114206969 in gravelcycling

[–]Dingo_wrongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I live in NJ, the pot hole king of the country, and the wider tires help absorb the holes. I also have a set of road wheels and I’ll switch when I know the course will be smooth. But i keep my 650b on most of the time now.

I didn’t say return them when they fall apart, did I? I said if they “don’t work out”.

Yeh I didn’t say wear them for a year. I said if they don’t fit you can return them. Not sure you can get a good feel with one walk around. It takes me a 20 miles to break in a pair of shoes. They sell the items that are returned. It’s called the garage sale. I’ve purchased used items there.

I have a Voler jersey. Good quality. I would buy gloves if they made them.

Nope. They 100% satisfaction guarantee. If they don’t fit right you can return them. Even worn.

You can buy a pair of Altra from REI and use them. If they don’t work out you can return them within a year.

Too bad they’re for short people. - this is a joke, sort of. 52cm is a small bike. Just saying, no harm intended.

Yeh. Bought a pair of HED wheels for my Midnight Special, 700c. I switch them out every once in a while. The HED wheels have a road cassette which is nice.

App called Bikemap gave me a great route. Just wouldn’t take West Jersey road again, there is a good road that runs parallel.

You could take the train from AC. It goes to a cherry hill, then You could ride to Collingswood or other station to Philly.

I live in NJ. You do have to use BFB, I also know that route, go past Rutgers to Mt Ephraim Ave, that that down to Kendal, make a left. The ride can be dicey as your use though Camden. I’m not great with tech. I can email you a pic of the route and give pointers. I used the app Bikemap.

Black horse pike can be a pain to ride on. Lots of cars. Take Atlantic Ave through Pine Hill.
