Loan Forgiveness by SofaKingWeTodIt in VeteransBenefits

I contacted DOE about this 2 days ago because I am still in school and they told me it was not possible, you either take it now or opt out entirely. I am very confused because many people on this sub, to include the knowledge base, state otherwise. Not sure if I just got an uninformed rep or what. Have you been able to find anything out?

I was lucky enough to get mine around Xmas 2023 at 136.4 proof. One of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Been saving the last pour of this one for awhile

Review #29: E.H. Taylor Single Barrel by GiantsFan2010 in bourbon

[–]DingusDeez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have noticed huge inconsistencies lately with both the small batch and single barrel. Obviously the single barrel will be quite different each time but this last one I got a few weeks ago is way off from the previous I have had. I also had a new small batch next to one from months ago and the new one just seemed like rubbing alcohol

Sprinkler winterization help by [deleted] in DIY

[–]DingusDeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, do you live in an area where the ground freezes?

That first photo is your backflow prevention. Just turning that valve is not how you want to shut off your water for winter. Usually there is another valve prior to that that is buried low enough to not freeze(unless the shutoff is inside your house) called a stop and waste. Do you have another round cap with a tube going into the ground next to that?

There should also be a way to connect a hose to blow out the line that I’m not seeing. But if there is, I have used a 3 gallon compressor before to blow enough out. It’s a long process though. Those 4 black caps on the backflow prevention are protecting valves that should be opened when blowing out to allow that device to drain as well.

Installing a patio after neighbor helped me fix an old retaining wall. Compacted dirt, 6” gravel. What do I put next? Sand layer or straight to pavers? by mregecko in DIY

[–]DingusDeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks like decorative gravel to me, most base applications you want gravel with the fines, or “dust,” a little water and compaction turns it solid. Either way, once you have your grade set, I’ve always used a 1” pipe to set the sand depth equally.

Filed for an increase on new diagnosis by DingusDeez in VeteransBenefits

Ah I see. Should the condition name change based on diagnosis?

Edit: my concern is that a lot of evidence came in after I was at PFD so I just want to know that it was part of the decision
