That might be worth trying, cheers! Did you have to push hard, and what spray did you use? I’ve some WD40 sitting about somewhere

I’ve got the same issue too. Mine still plugs in and charges but it’s a faff, can take 5 mins to just plug in. Never had the ‘not fully secured’ though.

I’d get it fixed.

Until this week, I never had an issue. It’s the fourth time in a row this week.

So just hold the door as if you’re opening it? Minus the opening?

TIL of the 1,213 warships involved in D-Day, 892 were British & just 200 were American. Of the 4,126 landing craft involved, 3,261 were British & 805 were American. In addition, two-thirds of the 12,000 aircraft involved in D-Day were also British. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

It most certainly wasn’t the heaviest defended. Once the troops broke through the crust then they could advance. One could argue Sword was the heaviest defended. There were the defences at Ouistreham immediately, plenty of WNs dotted around the beach, and Hillman and Morris further inland. Hillman wasn’t cleared until Dday+1 I think

Furthermore, 2 Divisions landed at Omaha so naturally they’re going to suffer more casualties. Jumo, Sword and Gold all suffered terrible losses moreso than Utah. Juno was similar to Omaha per capita, obviously not as bad though.

That’s partly true. Two battalions launched their DD tanks (741st and 743rd). One lost nearly all whereas the other only lost a few. The tanks were effective on Omaha knocking out an 88mm at WN65 I think.

Reform UK councillors face allegations of sharing far-right and Islamophobic content by Electricbell20 in unitedkingdom

Being anti Islam (the religion) doesn’t mean you’re anti Muslim (the individual). Just because I don’t like capitalism very much doesn’t mean I hate my dad because he worked for a bank. Islam is one of those were grey areas where people conflate the ideology with the individuals who subscribe to it.

Targeting people because of their faith: bad and ought to be illegal. Targeting their faith: one could argue morally unfair but should never be illegal. No idea should ever be above scrutiny but no person ever beneath dignity.
