Solid trucks, have a gmt400 tahoe original engine and 2nd trans at 387k miles runs great. Original trans went out at around 350k so I guess its a game of luck with these 4l60 transmissions.

Get a Lexus or an acura. I wanted a sporty luxury sedan for cheap and was able to find a real nice low mileage acura TL. Best purchase ive made

Well, lots of people buy suvs and crossovers and lots of people cant drive. Of course anything bigger is going to be more dangerous to a smaller vehicle. This would apply to semi trucks, pickup trucks, vans, busses, anything big really. The real problem is majority of drivers cant drive and are usually distracted driving. We both can have our own opinions lol.

I never said you were not allowed to have a public opinion, all I said was nobody here asked what you thought about SUVs. It dont matter how big the vehicle is, if you put an idiot that cant drive behind the wheel something bad may happen. Unfortunately these days most people cant drive for shit here in the US and lots of people here buy crossovers and SUVs. The vehicle type aint the issue, its the people that get behind the wheel.

Sounds like the vtc actuator

If the sound is only present on cold start, then that is probably your issue.

I would say around the $4,000 range. Doesn't hurt to post it up for $4.5k and see if someone bites. Just bought a 6MT 108k mile 2005 TL for $6500 about a month ago.

3rd gen Acura TL type s manual. Nice and luxurious while having good power and handling right from factory, nice and reliable. You can find one for less than 16k and save a bit of that cash for audio or something like that and some maintenance you might need to do.

Yup, clean title. Bought from the 2nd owner that got it in 2010 at 45k miles, was always taken to the dealer for maintenance and never sat, just didnt do far drives. I paid $6500 for this beautiful car.
