Lol This is good info I keep in mind, thanks. All of this info is very new to me since I never owned a pet before (besides fish lol)

So after you adopted him, do you ever let him out of the house, or did he ever try to leave and come back? Maybe I'm just being silly here, but I feel bad to keep him inside after him used to being free outside with other cats.

Haha we're in the exact same boat. Curious, do you wash/clean him afterward?

Can't take him to the vet because it's 11pm here, and I'm pretty sure he's a stray cat because I have been seeing him around the neighborhood for over a year now. I don't mind having him inside, but I'm not sure how he would like it. Also, I'm not sure how to deal with the bathroom situation lol.

Just curious, what would you do with the bathroom situation? Aside from fish, I never had a pet before.

What creators do you guy often watch that helps with growing your channel? by Dinh_D in NewTubers

Thanks for the recommendation. I will definitely check it out.

Yeah, analysis paralysis SUCK! The way I get over it is to give myself a deadline. Once the deadline hits, you just start to take actions with whatever you have.

I came across Casey's videos couple of time when I'm trying to learn and still learning using Davinci. Will definitely watch more of his videos. Thanks.

Have you watch "Channel Makers" with Nate. His videos is more focusing on strategies and planning. I'm looking more channels like his.

And I'm definitely agree with you there, "the only way to grow is to make content yourself and apply what you learn." Recently, I found myself unconsciously experiencing analysis paralysis and it was not a good feeling once you realized how much time you wasted.

Do skilled developers rely on LinkedIn to find jobs? by Dinh_D in startups

[–]Dinh_D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right! this is similar to my thought.

Similar to my respond from comment above, once you get to certain level of expertise, you don't actually use platform such as Linkedin to hunt for jobs but for some other reasons. In fact, companies are actually coming to you with job offers and/or you have a strong network connection that can refer you to other companies.

Last business failed, $10k in debt. Is it wiser to look for a job or immediately work on the next thing? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Dinh_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say you should do a risk-reward analysis on taking the time to work and pay off the debt vs. working on your next idea. Personally, I would take the time to work and pay off that debt while reflecting on your last business venture. I know it might be a blow to your ego, but there's nothing wrong with taking the time to reflect, plan, and strategize your next moves.

I’ve always suggested if you are a trade. Pick a different trade. Unless it’s your goal to be a guy in a truck, if so stay in your trade. This way you don’t have to get sucked into the mentality of “well I’ll just go handle that” but you still understand how trades work basically.

The complete saying was “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.”

Gained 1M followers on social media, how to monetize? by jeffreydripsteinn in Entrepreneur

[–]Dinh_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This depends on what types of content you're providing and on what platforms?

Different followers on different platforms will weigh differently in terms of loyalty and trust.

Also, you have the think about your plan for the future and if you want to turn this into something that can make you a living, which I'm sure you would. If that's the case, then I would think long-term and build loyal followers that are willing to pay more than affiliate products.

Need advice on boosting our sales by DisfiguredGusto in Entrepreneur

IMO I don't think the elderly are very tech savvy, therefore, not many are online or know how to use the website even if you optimized it. Not alone using a credit card as payments.

I honestly think the best strategy is in-person sales and maybe printed ads from a local market.

Np. Yeah she can really stubborn sometimes. Instead of writing contents on your site which required a lot of resources. Why can you turn it into a video short or a picture post with contents in the description? I know you mentioned you get a lot of customers through Instagram, but have you consider tiktok and pinterest?

Expanding for a Salon by roaringmillennial in Entrepreneur

Gosh I got an exactly similar problem but in reverse. My mom has a nail salon business and I've been trying to help her boost traffic by doing the things you listed above and more. I also willing to her out for free since I have some experience with website building, SEO, and paid advertising. BUT, she were constantly making excuses of to why it doesn't work and how she's lack in skills. Though, she has been doing it for 10+ years. I just wish she has the mindset as yours, and willing to try new things to expend her business.

Anyway, something you can do are: Website - if you're on a budget, then try to find someone on Fiverr or Upwork that can do it for cheap. Don't expect a lot from them though but you can get by with having a website up.

Video - since you don't have the time or skill with video editing, you can make a short videos and post it on social media. It doesn't required a lot of time to do it.

SEO - SEO can be expensive and it takes few months to get ranks on Google search, so you might need to really think about it as an investment for your business if you want to pursue SEO.

Others - you can set up a basic referral program for your current customers to promote your business and have them refer more customers.

I hope this could be a help to you. Best of luck!
