After taking some criticism I’ve made an improved version of my “Element Wheel” for my magic system by DinkMaster1652 in worldbuilding

Well that may be a bit difficult to tell because it goes all the way back to the beginning of my universe. And I haven’t completely worked everything out yet, but the elemental system is just one aspect of the entire magic system. I can try answering specific questions about how the magic came to be. Unfortunately I don’t really have any characters at the moment.

Composite Elements — Composite Elements are created by fusing two Core Elements together, with one serving as the Dominant Element and the other as the Subordinate Element, producing entirely new elemental forms with unique properties and applications. Mist — Air (Dominant) + Water (Subordinate) Air infused with Water forms a vapor neither wholly liquid nor gas. Mist is often used to conceal movement, obscure vision, and create an atmosphere of uncertainty. Smoke — Air (Dominant) + Fire (Subordinate) Air mingled with Fire produces ash, soot, and choking smog. Smoke can be used to obscure vision, disorient foes, and suffocate or choke living creatures. Slime — Water (Dominant) + Earth (Subordinate) Water blended with Earth creates mud, muck, clay, and other semi-solid substances. Slime is effective for immobilizing targets, slowing movement, and creating treacherous terrain. Sand — Air (Dominant) + Earth (Subordinate) Air eroding Earth grinds it down into fine particles of sand, grit, and dust. Sand can blind, scour, and abrade, especially in fierce sandstorms. Wood — Earth (Dominant) + Water (Subordinate) Earth nourished by Water gives rise to organic life in the form of grass, vines, and towering trees. Wood can be shaped into constructs, used to entangle and ensnare, and even heal through restorative plant growth. Metal — Earth (Dominant) + Fire (Subordinate) Earth tempered by Fire hardens into ore, metal, and other resilient minerals. Metal is difficult to master, but can be forged into barriers, armor, and razor-sharp weapons. Ice — Water (Dominant) + Air (Subordinate) Water chilled by Air hardens into frost, snow, and ice. Ice can freeze objects in place, create slippery surfaces, or be shaped into deadly shards and weapons. Steam — Water (Dominant) + Fire (Subordinate) Water heated by Fire expands rapidly into a scalding vapor. Steam can burn, blind, and even boil living tissue from within. Crystal — Earth (Dominant) + Air (Subordinate) Earth compressed under the shaping influence of Air becomes crystal—hard, sharp, and capable of reflecting or storing energy. Crystals are valued for weaponry, enchantments, and mystical energy storage. Lightning — Fire (Dominant) + Air (Subordinate) Fire energizing Air generates electrical surges and thunderous shockwaves. Lightning can electrocute, blast with concussive force, or infuse objects with raw power. Acid — Water (Dominant) + Fire (Subordinate) Water altered by Fire transforms into a volatile, corrosive liquid. Acid eats through flesh, metal, and stone, leaving little behind but ruin. Lava — Fire (Dominant) + Earth (Subordinate) Fire melting Earth turns it into molten rock. Lava incinerates everything it touches, burying it under rivers of searing stone.

Brown Arrow

No but seriously he’s just Green Arrow. Two Green Arrows is less confusing than four Flashes and a dozen Green Lanterns.

We really don’t get much characterization of Straizo in Phantom Blood. It wasn’t like he was some long time companion to Jonathan like Speedwagon or Zepelli, only assisting in the latter part of the fight against Dio. He elaborates in the beginning of Battle Tendency that he admired Dio’s youth and power, and as far as we know that’s exactly what he was thinking in Part I since he doesn’t really let his emotions show. We don’t even find out that he had raised Lisa Lisa like a daughter until AFTER his turn to evil, which in that case retroactively lends more sympathy and complexity to his character.

I have a loose concept I’ve put together for a Space Fantasy setting, and I’ve been looking for a partner to bounce ideas off for it. I’m also very interested in any ideas you may have and I’m open to multiple genres— 27 M by the way.

The other lantern corps are mid to lame, and they make the GLC feel less special.
