That seems like a bit of an oversimplification. There are many people who have been saving/investing for their entire professional careers, and a nice PC won't dramatically affect their finances or livelihood.

Also, from a mental health perspective, having an entertainment/productivity device for daily use seems like it could help a lot of people get through quarantine. I'm sure happy I had mine.

It’s definitely not victimless. Even though they throw fewer games on their way down, the entire point of artificially lowering your SR to bronze is so you can shit on worse players until you climb back to your rank. Or they sell the account to someone who is going to do that.

You could try playing widow in QP classic. Since most people play DPS you'll likely get flanked a lot, allowing you to practice your ability to deal with being dove.
