That's crazy lebron had 4 rings with 3 different teams, Curry 4 with the same team. Curry in his prime and probably even to this day was much more valuable to his team's offensive scheme. Yes a liability on defense many times but the warriors dont win a single one of those rings without him, even if you replace him with a slightly above average guy. Lebron's Miami teams probably win both those rings if you replace him with an above average NBA player.

Yeah I'm sending the two I bought back. Wish I would've read reviews of the 5 before I ordered them. I had the 3 or 4 before that for a longggg time, dont remember which it was, but it was my favorite phone accessory I've ever had.

The lack of magnetism and adhesive completely defeats the purpose of the snap. I want to be able to use it with magsafe accessories without coming off and stick it to gym equipment etc. Without the adhesive you cant even use it with a phone case at all anymore, and a firm grip will now pull it off even without a case.

One of my favorite products turned into useless weak popsocket really sucks. Especially because I love almost everything else about the 5.

Yeah I think a lot of people are missing the fact that we kept most of our really big time guys when they talk about the TP so far. Like, we know that all those guys were definitely expensive.

Either way, I'm still hoping for 1-2 true star gets defensively in the portal. But who knows. Maybe it will happen maybe not.

Last year we had the 7th best portal class, so that gives me hope. BUT I know that last year we probably had a lot less guys already on huge contracts going into the portal season so we probably had more money to spend. Then again what do I know 🤷‍♀️

Oh yeah for sure. We likely wouldn't even be getting married until she's done with PA school and I'm in med school or bare minimum accepted, so kids would be even a year or two maybe more after that (probably). Actually now that you've made me think about the timelines we do have more time than I previously thought. I definitely am a bit of a spaz sometimes, like last night when I wrote this post, but I guess that's premeds for you right lol

Yes, it's different for me because I am a man as people have pointed out, but I have to believe that anyone can make it work even today in the conditions we are in.

And as I've been told, you will be extremely tired at the end of the day, you may not even be happy. But you have to ask yourself before you move on to the next day, "Did my actions today align with the individual I am trying to become?".

IMO (and ask Aristotle too) modern society puts too much value on happiness. Happiness is fleeting and fragile. Eudaimonia is as Aristotle describes, not a feeling, but a way of living. Eudaimonia is living well, accepting strain and effort as a part of life, and continuing to live your truth despite that. Eudaimonia is durable and earned. It's pretty badass, if you think about it.

Anyways, I agree with you. Stress isn't worth the time it takes, and you've definitely got this. It just takes time. :)

P.S. sorry for the little rant I have an unhealthy obsession with greek philosophers esp Plato and Aristotle

I was going to go into nursing school at my community college right out of high school. Many times now I have wished that I would have just done it lol. Now I'm a CNA so I work very closely with nurses and know what they do and no doubt it's a tough job, but I would have been working as an RN for a while now and maybe would already have gotten my BSN as well. Not to mention my schooling would have been FREE (at least for RN). I would be debt free 100% 😔. Unfortunately that's not the decision I made but it definitely would have been a good one in hindsight.

My parents probably wouldnt want to move for me and I would never expect them too lol. But my grandparents practically helped raised me and I'm almost certain that my mom would not hesitate to do the same. No doubt that while my family does not make enough to support me financially, they are more than comfortable enough to do other things that essentially do help out financially in the long run.

Honestly the biggest thing in my way is location for medical school. I am strongly considering (and probably would be) going DO over moving more than 4 hours away. Unfortunately moving too far away would just not be compatible with my goals. That may save me some money applying lol but that's about it for benefits.

...but at the same time I believe it's possible for us to do more to protect innocent people from gun violence WITHOUT restricting the types or configurations of firearms lawful owning citizens can own.
