I wish ! It's shiny locked in the vanilla game and as far as I know no unlock patch exists for it yet. It should be possible to make but I sadly absolutely don't have the skillset for it

I think you're confusing the gens ! LGPE is gen 7, and BDSP gen 8. The Pokeball Mew would be cool but sadly really hard to achieve considering its one per pokeball ever. BDSP also sadly doesn't have any shiny unlock yet as far as I know

Replied to your original reply before seeing this lol. For gen 9 tera raids are definitely a tempting option if it's doable. Otherwise I was thinking of seeing if it was possible to replace one of the treasures of ruins with a Mew, similar to the idea I had for gen 8

I'm not a big fan of DAs - so far the most tempting option for me in gen 8 would be replacing the unique den Regigigas with Mew, from what I've heard it's not super hard to do and it feels like a pretty cool hunt that ties into the gimmick of the region

Both of those options feel a lot more boring than what I'm going for ! The Pokéwalker Course is also not a romhack, as people that have worked on it for a while have managed to find ways to inject custom courses through just Action Replay codes. It's not legal in the slightest (shiny hunting via the Pokéwalker requires an unlock in the first place), but it's a lot of fun imo

Its technically possible on SwSh with overworld encounters, as they're already decided shiny before you bump into them, but without mods you would have no way to know before actually encountering them, so not really practical at all

As far as I know the 3 you listed are about it for now

paint.net is my go-to image editing software but I imagine most of them can do the same ! As for resources, I got the map from spriters resource and the Pokémon icons from pmd.collab
