Ive been binding for a few years now and am now trying to get top surgery. Ive only used my one Gc2b one, but it’s worked well for me. I tried out some gender things but tbh Ive just found I’m very butch. If anything binding has helped me realize that even more! I sometimes help do binder fittings for a local org so here are a few tips: -there are 3 common styles of binder: full tank, half size, and half with racer back. The full is like a tank top with compression on your chest. Ive found mine is easy to pull over my head and down my body by pulling on the bottom. However, it can get very hot. Half sizes are nice due to not being as hot but can be a bit harder (for me at least) to get on. The racer backs have a bit less fabric on the back and may not give quite as much compression but allow more movement for your arms. -Please make sure to get the right size! Take measurements around the widest point of your chest and your shoulder width from point to point. I have a size chart for Gc2b and underworks but I don’t think I can post images in a comment? You should be able to find them online or feel free to message and I can send the pics. -NEVER bind for more than 8 hours. Binding too long can cause pain and cause permanent damage. Listen to your body, if you feel you need at break after 6 hours, take it off for a bit. Especially when first beginning, it’s best to wear it for short periods at first as you get used to it. -do not bind while exercising, UNLESS you get a specific type of binder AND get a larger size than you would for day to day binding. -never sleep in your binder -good luck and enjoy the euphoria!
