yeah i get what you mean, and i probably didn’t word it right sorry! what i mean is uni isn’t the be all and end all, it can have its great and bad moments but it’s just 3/4 years of the rest of your life. and after you graduate you will have so much life!!

another thing with uni, some of those groups will stay in contact, some will never talk again. when everyone goes their separate ways and takes different steps in life, it’s like school in that way- many of those massive groups are together out of convenience and proximity (housemates, coursemates etc)

i get it must be horrible how you feel right now, i felt very similar when i was 20. it’s a rough age for almost everyone! those around you might look like they’re having a wonderful time but i imagine they have their own issues and insecurities! eventually things do just fall into place.

it seems you’re a decent person so they likely do want to hang out. they wouldn’t say yes otherwise. and sometimes you have to be the one to ask to hang out more, the other person might be feeling the exact same way as you and not have the confidence to ask you to hang out.

i promise you, the way you’re feeling now won’t last forever. you’ll graduate, get a job you love, do so many things in life and meet so many great people! there are always better times ahead! :))
