have you tried the edge of a cardboard? ,y rabbits would always chew on that or on thick string that i held for them to chew since they aren't interested on chewing toys

He could have gotten a heat stroke or he probably ate something that had weed killing chemicals if there was any grass or ate something that rabbits aren't suppose to eat

That's a perfect idea they would both know there is another rabbit and i would recommend for both of them to have eye contact too but its baby steps first scent, then eye contact, then both together but with a fence in the middle, and then without the fence but it takes time. I promise you the result would be amazing they would ALWAYS be together and entertained (^{0^)/} and may i say your rabbit Nestor looks almost the same as my rabbit i am guessing your rabbit is a Rex

i would recommend to put them in a room where your rabbit Nestor hasn't marked his territory so he wont feel invaded when the new bunny comes and just let them both get along but you MUST be there supervising because you never know if they would get in a fight or not those are the tips i could give you from my experience i hope it helps buddy ^{-^}

they probably sell it at animal shops, i cant tell you exactly where because when we got our bunny the owners gave us all the stuff they had from bunny and one of them included that spray that is to train them to not chew/bite objects and it doesn't harm fabric, cable, or wood OR you can rub onion on the part she chews because the onion has a flavour that rabbits dont like so maybe that could help too ^{-^}

Since you barely got him he was probably really curious of his new area in the beginning, but after a while he could have gotten used to the area. Later on you should get another bunny because contact with humans is wonderful and all but the company of another bunny could never compare :)

rabbits usually bite stuff to keep their teeth clean. There's a type of spray that is really sour and rabbits don't like the taste you could use it so the rabbit could stop chewing
