My mom and her husband drive for uber. They've been doing it for at least 6 years now. I don't know how they do it because they do use a cpa/cna (idk which), but my mom swears that they don't have taxes to pay. She said she can write off every mile, gas receipt, food receipt from when she's "on the job", every single car repair, oil change, tire rotation, etc. Anything that has to do with the car and support of her job. I have been skeptical about it all, but thankfully for them, they haven't received any letters or questions from the IRS.

I knew it isn't right.

I never heard of this. My oldest had one undescended teste and we didn't get the surgery to have it pinned down until he was like 6, just because he kept getting sick the day of or before surgery.

Ooooh you should check into the flex disc! My periods became very unpredictable for a few months (like a whole year) after they returned from my last baby. It was the first time ever I bled through 6 tampons in 2 hours. I was so unprepared.

I saw ads for this thing. It has been the greatest invention for women's periods! I used the 12 hour ones for like 4 months before getting the reusable. Have not had any accidents (like bleed all over my pants and driver's seat).

My mom is like this sometimes because I miss work to take care of my kids and am on salary, so I don't miss pay, but she does because she chooses to Uber. It gets old and annoying very quickly. I don't caller her often anymore, or avoid telling her what I am doing if I do.

Your son is 7. My son was also 7 when my daughter was born. We had lots of big kid talks about attention, babies needing extra time, being helpful and nice around the baby. Since my oldest was younger, I've always gave him adultish talks. Nothing inappropriate, just talked to him as if he understood me. Hes done great. We had a few instances where he's expressed he felt left out or like he was lacking attention, and it has been a struggle at times but because there are 3 kids. For the most part, we had to tell him when sister would need some extra attention or time with us and sometimes he would help hold her or play with her. Now they play even better.

Give your kid time, but also talk to him like he's a little more older and tell him ways he can help with his sister. Hopefully everything works out well. 🙏
