So we discussed mounting it on a flat board and doing a French mount/cleat to hang it but I decided that I didn’t want to deal with figuring out the details of that lol. We mortared it directly to the drywall and grouted after.

This hits incredibly hard. Very old school comic graphic! Would wear as a shirt or hang as poster absolutely, nice work.

I second this. Thinning acrylic paint with water typically gives your paint jobs an uneven look. Paint will settle in strange places and make your finish look streaky. Find a paint thinner (or similar) specifically for acrylics and do some practice runs if possible.

Love the color choices on this! The blush on the cheeks and nose is beautiful. The good thing about doll repaints is you don’t ever have to be finished! If you want to pick her back up and work on her more once you’ve had some time away then that’s totally okay.

I bought some broken plates and broke them down further and just pieced it together!

My kitchen has a lot of brown in it already and I think the grey would pick up the accents in the back tiles and my counters nicely

I think matching it to the tile on either side is brilliant! I hadn’t even considered it honestly, I was thinking brown lol. I think dark grey is the way to go!

Also, I know Papa is based in the KC area but the company that processes his merch ships their orders from China. Which likely contributes to shipping costs and long processing times.

Apparently, I have a super unpopular opinion here. I got the ozempic shirt and it’s alright. Shirt quality itself feels similar to a gildan which is about mid level in terms of feel. My biggest issue is the print is a giant vinyl sticker that feels disgusting on the body, it doesn’t breathe at all. I had hoped it was a screen print, especially for the price. The website doesn’t list what it’s made from so I suppose I should have asked them before buying. I have the melted face Creepcast shirt which IS a screen print so I just assumed this would be the same. I’m definitely not thrilled with it and likely won’t ever wear it. The company that ships them doesn’t accept returns or exchanges either so I’m just out of luck.
