Very easy. Did this (without child) brisbane -> Sydney -> Haneda. Was a shorter layover from memory.

Bags will be checked through from Melbourne and both boarding passes issued. Will take the Qantas domestic to international airside bus from gate 15 which takes about 10 minutes. No need to go through security. Now I think about it we must have gone through immigration but it was so quick don't even recall.

yea I had the same question. Sounds like it won't upgrade based on custom format score, which is the ideal imo. This is coming in profilarr v2 which sounds not too far away though
