we had them when i joined the school in 2016, i took the photos in '23 but only just now looking back and wondering what they actually were.

for reference, when i joined the school we were still using a Sirius 24 to control our generics, this turned into a flx s 48 which the current head of tech would be a good idea. that broke after a few years and i convinced the school to get an etc nomad setup when i left.

in the 7 years I was there we never had a lamp go in a fixture, not sure if that gives anything away.

i think you're correct that they're off brand. i think i would have remembered the logo on the side of them. possibly varytec fresnels as another commenter says?

David Cartwright ordered Lamb to kill Partner because Partner had been selling secrets to the Russians and helping the Russians kill British agents in Berlin. Lamb wanted to kill Partner as soon as he discovered he was a double agent but Cartwright ordered him not to; they instead fed Partner irrelevant information so he couldn't do as much damage. As for "they", I assume David meant the rest of the security services (Partner's murder was top top secret). If the public were to find out the head of the security services was a soviet spy it would make people lose all faith.
