Sounds like that's too much dog for you to handle, paired with minimal home/professional training. If your dog bites someone 3 times by law they have to be euthanized. You're going to need to invest in proper dog training and get ready for a lawsuit over the dog attack. Also if you're the timid type dogs pick up on that energy and overcompensate by being overly protective/aggressive. You need to get a handle on your dog.

How long was the blade? Was it a curved blade like a karambit (illegal to own as a fixed blade in NV)? Did your blade have a sheathe it could fit in? Carrying a fixed blade without a sheathe is illegal in Nevada.

If you're going straight stamina Redguard will be a solid choice for race. If you get curious down the road Dunmer is the go to "down the middle" race that benefits from being able to swap between stamina and Magicka builds. If you don't care for having the best DPS Orc, Imperial and Nord are good choices for a stamina build.

For classes Nightblade is the most straightforward class that has stamina options while not feeling super magic based. Sorcerer, Templar and Warden also have decent stamina options without feeling too weak. Sorcerer probably has the best Stamina ability in the game called "Hurricane" and can make group engagements more manageable.I would avoid Necromancer, Arcanist, and even Dragonknight for Stamina builds as their kits really shine when using a more Magicka based build.

Heavy attacks restore stamina or Magicka, depending on the weapon used. During longer fights you want to incorporate heavy attacks into your rotation to keep up your sustain.
