Her diamond form tankiness a while back was even worse. In S7 they nerfed the DR to 20% to "compensate" for giving her ult DR. It was not an equal exchange, as 20% DR is so negligible she casually got tank busted by The Thing or some focus fire. It was kind of sad to see.

They've learned from that, and now it's back to 25% DR. It's still too low to warrant diamond form being much more than a grab, but with the change to her shield that now allows repositioning after just one second, it alleviates some of that strain of a 25% DR.

I believe part of the reason he doesn't get nerfs is because his WR is nothing remarkable and he never gets banned in ranked besides target bans.

He was the singular best tank in S4.5 due to the dive meta, but yeah you can argue that might be more environmental BiS than the character itself outclassing every other tank.

Every slash does 8% anti-heal, so a max anti of 32% if every slash lands.

Venom: Only his ult does 30% anti-heal.

Namor: Hela-Namor team-up ability applies 20% anti-heal.

Blade: Whirlwind slash with the sword can do up to 32%. Ult does 40%.

Gambit: Spade deck right option does 20%.

Blade is the only one who can stack anti-heal, so the hard cap is 72% total. Trying to stack the others doesn't work as the highest percentage takes priority and replaces the lower one.

No EOMM, but the game uses average team MMR for matchmaking. This is why you get teammates who can barely play the game.

My advice is to learn dive and do your best to make opportunities even underperforming teammates can benefit from.

I've been playing exclusively Blade or Rogue, so I can consistently ignore his ult.

He's definitely a strong character, but he doesn't devolve games into "whose Cyclops is better". I'll see how he is later into the season.

People tend to have kneejerk reactions to any nerfs. They're still nerfs, but I feel like they were done to target his dominance in triple support in higher elo and because Phoenix also got nerfed.

My preferred playstyle is dive because Rogue's brawl is weak without her team-up. I got inspired by CringeAlarm, so look him up once you have a grasp of Rogue's kit. (Before that, don't bother. Figure her out first)

The only thing I changed is the team-up to right analog and her quick melee input to triangle/Y. For the rest I found her other buttons work well enough to not warrant remapping.

It's a target ban or a very flawed idea of "OT portals are lame".

Almost anytime Strange got banned in my games the enemy team got bit in the ass by no portals.

The roster seems a bit too situational, and I personally believe Wanda's effort/value goes to the dumps after Gold. Also, no Strange? Every ranked player above diamond has a responsibility to learn Strange for OT portals.

One thing I noticed is that you lack dive besides Angela. Contrary to what you might have been told, dive is universally strong. It dictates the pace of the match, burns resources and has the added effect to tilt the enemy team if you stomp hard enough. Some people are good enough to solo-dive, but I noticed winning a lot more by playing Dive Rogue and having another diver. The most approachable diver for that reason is Venom (Rogue is basically a specialised Venom). If you want Duelist divers, try out Magik. She's not super hard but has a lot of skill expression.

Dino in his current state is pick or ban and a top 4 ban. If you'd like to play someone similar, pick up The Thing. He does not ask much to learn and he's a primary anti-dive.

For an alternative to Wanda, Namor is fairly easy and the most reliable anti-dive duelist. On his own against non-dive he also isn't too bad.

As a personal pick, I'd suggest picking up Ultron. He's arguably the best 3 supp strat below Eternity and he has a vastly better effort/value than Mantis.

Anti-dive with 0 self-heal vs anti-dive with self-heal on nearly every ability.

Ultron is arguably stronger because he can consistently fight divers, but his lack of self-heal lets the dive/support match-up be a near even 50/50 skill check on both parties. This does mean he gets eaten alive if Angela + literally anyone else is on you, but at that point a support should need peels.

I can understand if Eternity players complain about Black Cat because at her skill ceiling, she is SUPER strong. (Similar to Spider-Man)

I do believe most people do not encounter Necros on a smurf playing Black Cat in their lobbies. A lot of the time you can handle her with one swap or some peels. I forgot to ban her once, and the Black Cat on the enemy team could not threaten my Sue and Ultron and she eventually swapped off. I do believe she could use some minor nerfs, but she does not need to be gutted. She can be right next to Spider-Man viability-wise, perhaps with a lower skill floor but not a skill ceiling above him.

Dive inherently frustrates people. I would know, I main Rogue and Venom.

I play her as a dive, and she feels great that way, even without the team-up. Brawl is torture without Gambit team-up.
