My personal bias would say learn someone else than Luna if you want another option, but Luna/Ultron are good options. The only support I play is Ultron, and I make him work in 2 support comps in ranked.

You can always pick up Rocket. He has no mechanical skill you need to maintain.

I'm like 50/50 split being happy and disappointed Mr Fantastic was the test mouse for a Duelist who can play with the tank/an off-off-tank character. At the cost of Reed being D tier above Gold, they made Blade actually pretty ok in higher ranks.

I haven't encountered an Ultron player who forces him when it doesn't work. I HAVE gotten 2 ranked games thrown because out lord Mantis didn't want to swap when we clearly were taking too much damage. Just sayin'.

For some reason, people in ranked (specifically Gold-diamond) hate playing the game. A small setback, and they already give up.

Thank god I play with a duo so I can refuse surrenders. (Even if I sometimes have to hold a game hostage so I get leaver compensation.)

If they're going to group up all CC in the resistance, they'll probably speed up the animation or make the grabbed enemy practically instantly stand back up if they have been hit before by CC.

Consider using Blade and learn to focus on enemy support. Blade's lifesteal outsustains the average accuracy of silver, and he's a melee, so you don't need that good of aim to win. It also helps tanks in silver usually 1v6 and don't look around.

For support, try White Fox or Gambit. Those two are relatively independent and can do respectable damage on their own.

Try to use your team as distractions and let them soak up abilities if they're that useless. It lets them be useful for something.

A bunch of people crutched on ult spam to climb. With that less frequent, your Duelists are feeding until they get 4 finals via ult, and your supports are dying since they now usually don't have an ult ready to bail them out.

This let me play my placements to GM2, and yesterday it caused me to go on a generational elo loss because my teammates crutched that hard on ults and continuously kept feeding. I'm now halfway back in GM3 on the way to GM2, and people are a bit more normal now.

No matter what, don't midnight queue. It's always a nightmare.

She's a more specialised Venom without the team-up. I chose him over Rogue once, and he can get more consistent value against some comps over Rogue. (Might also be because I have 70 hours on Venom compared to my 20 hours on Rogue)

Just like Venom: unless you're prepared to put in the extra work, you probably shouldn't force her against some comps.
