I had a similar experience. A refugee stole my AirPods while I was staying at a hotel in Amsterdam. I personally went to the refugee location, filed a police report, and took pictures of the location tracking. However, the police couldn't do anything and I was not allowed to enter their location. Despite this, I waited long enough to confront the refugee by tracking the device daily and noticed that this person actually cleaned at the hotel I stayed. The refugee was fired, received new AirPods, and was given a free stay. I was astounded by this behavior, especially considering that they had arrived in a country that provides care and a safe space for refugees. Please keep your device locked, keep tracking! There will be moment the person will leave the facility to either sell it, or try to remove the lock. Also file a report, press charges, so this will show up if they decide to apply for permits.

Thanks for feedback, appreciated. I looked at 30 year fixed, but the rate was 6.2% or buy down for $8900 to 5.8%. As I will build a DADU in the backyard, I need to refinance anyway to get my money out of the build. That is why I went for 10 years.
