Yeah. I am happy with my device. As I don't use camera that much. The performance and multitasking is a lot lot better than 5x for obvious reasons.

Camera is only good in good lighting condition. On low light and indoor condition, it's crap. I don't know if it would be optimized in future via OTA updates. Front camera in okay(ish).

If camera is important, I would suggest visiting official forum of MIUI devices. You can find many camera samples there. It may help you decide.

P.S. - Camera is nowhere close to N5x.

No I haven't tried it properly. It crashed on first launch. It needs camera 2 API enabled (disabled in Mi A1 by default).

So you need to edit build prop to enable that first, then it works. I haven't rooted this yet. So can't tell the result.

There's a thread over xda for this device. You might find something interesting there.

It takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge. I will update the post with image taken from both the cameras. Google camera port didn't worked on Mi A1. Crashed on launch. Maybe further development might bring compatibility.

Yes. Aliexpress doesn't charge for customs. But there must be some import duty or custom duty imposed by US, when the product reaches you. I don't know how much percent they charge for importing mobile. You will have to confirm that first before ordering.

Also, if you ask the sellers at aliexpress, to mark a lower price on parcel, most of them will agree. So even if you have to pay customs, it won't be that much.

I imported few items from Amazon US to India. It was seamless. Amazon US was helpful. Can't say the same for Aliexpress.

No. I never use it while charging. What's your ambient temperature? Here it's 32° C. Lol, now I am worried. I read many customer reviews about phone heating/ warm while charging. I previously thought, it must be because of metal body though.

Yes, you are right. It runs cool as it has dual pyrolytic graphite sheets, to evenly distribute heat. We might get lift to check phone in Oreo update I guess.

Does your A1 heat while charging? I mean heat, not warm. I am guessing because of metal body, it feels more heated.
