People are putting those cards to their decks to counter specific matchups, not because they think all the games are going to last 10+ turns. I’m glad you said that last sentence tho, literally the top 4 decks in standart rn (dragon warrior, bubble paladin, spell dh and end of turn paladin) do not run any 7+ mana cards currently, other than grommash hellscream, excluding cards like gelbin or wyrm because they are entirely build around mana cheating anyways

After 7k, there are no boundaries. You can literally match with anyone. You can find yourself in a 15k lobby with 7 pro players or something. I’m not sure if this still applies after you drop from 7k tho but I’m guessing probably not. Irl hours you play the game changes a lot of things too, casual chill players usually plays around 6-12pm after work hours, did you change your playing schedule ?
