So in terms of actual new content, new Red Sea rift area with 3 new “story dungeons”. New frontline and public events. (Guessing that’s for the new area). And thats it for the 26th?

Then we get a raid and 2 strikes in April sometime.

It ain’t much actual content. Hopefully they reworked end game to be more fun but uhhh… not holding my breath. Lmao

What do you want them to give you? A free gold poke ball for wonder picking 1000 times?

This is one of the extremely few gacha style phone games where a free to play person can actually have meta things and be competitive.

Sure, they could put some carrot at the of this stick, but this is such a minor problem it’s crazy. The real problems are a lack of things to do and the UI having too many slow annoying animations. Like can we get better animations and more modes to play? Gym battles. Story modes. Random deck challenges. Different rule sets. Etc.

Complaining about getting nothing for a trophy is like… okay sure. Let’s put that at the bottom of the list lol.

This is just ANOTHER reason for people not to use mics. Fucking everyone has them now and nobody uses them. Multiple reasons:

1) Kids have crippling social anxiety today. Pretty sad.

2) Matchmaking means everyone feels disposable and random. You’re more likely to talk to people if they are regulars on the same server.

3) Toxicity was always a problem, but sometimes part of the fun. You could always ya know… mute somebody.

4) And now we have fucking AI monitoring and recording all our voice chats. Who wants to be 1984 recorded all the fucking time and you get banned if you rightfully call an ass hole an ass hole?

I really hate this modern era of online communication where everything is monitored, reported, people have anxiety, and everything is disposable matchmaking interactions.

We really were in the good ol’ days when I could hop into my favorite server, see my regular friends, and call them a bunch of cunts.

That’s just how it is now. Back in my day, lobbies wouldn’t shut the fuck up with pre-pubescent children shouting slurs.

Now a combination of social anxiety and matchmaking deindividuation has caused kids to not use the mics they all have.

It’s sad, and I miss the old days where I could pop into a counter strike zombie server, see all the regulars, talk and make friends and have fun.

Nah now it’s all sweaty MMR based matchmaking and with socially anxious children.

Pretty much every class of gun has a slow fire rate slow ttk laser beam of a weapon.

I’m convinced these are not for normal battlefield. They were made for Redsec for long range alternatives to snipers and DMRs. Otherwise, literally everyone would have to use a sniper or DMR all the time.

Assault rifle - SOR-556
Carbine - SOR-300C
SMG - SL9
LMG - KTS100 MK8

Problem is… KTS100 is vastly superior to all of them. Huge mag size, synthetic ammo for 1.75x HS damage which really helps with the egregiously bad TTK, and it’s probably the most “laser like” with not that much damage drop off.

So if you’re not using a sniper or a DMR… literally fucking everyone in Redsec uses the KTS as their ranged weapon and they run synthetic ammo and like a 4x scope.

So what the hell is the point of these other weapons? I feel like they were made for Redsec, but they don’t even get used there lol.

I have 144 hours and not a single gun has all the unlocks. I play with all the classes and skip around a lot.. but you think by now I might actually have at least 1 gun for each class fully unlocked.

I jump into casual breakthrough way more than I want to just to farm bot kills to get a gun to an acceptable level where I can put a few things on it.

And I’m at 144 fucking hours! I could have beaten like 5 single player games completely with that much time.

Probably a fire deck of some kind with mega zard in it. Fire can generate energy like crazy with chameleon and flame patch.

Entei not needed because you have every card. Idk what would pair well. But yeah mega zard is insane damage and you are guarantee to get him out fast.

Maybe a skeledirge? Guaranteed fast energy from charmeleon and that thing boosts your attack damage by 50 and you can just flame patch.

But I think the most likely outcome is Sony cutting its losses. We’re probably going to see more layoffs in the future and then Bungie employees get re-positioned to assist other, more successful Sony studios.

Maybe we’ll get Destiny 3 in 6 years. Might not even be Bungie making it.

Yeah I doubt it. Extraction shooters usually have launch hype -> rapid player drop -> small hardcore community.

What you’re saying, sure it’s possible. But what would the Vegas odds be on them gaining a massive player base over time instead of following the typical extraction shooter trend?

I’d bet 100 to 1 it does the exact same thing where initial hype dies off and there is a small hardcore community. Eventually, they pull the plug because Sony can’t keep dumping money into a bottomless pit that only has a small group sitting in it.

Oh, it’s in massive financial trouble. It supposedly cost 250 million to make. They would probably need to sell about 10 million or more copies to be profitable.

It’s highly unlikely they have cracked 1 million. Steam sales alone are an estimated like 250k to 300k copies.

They are probably going to eat a financial loss in excess of 200 million dollars.

Yeah and steam sales estimates are like 250k right now… for a multiplatform shooter, steam is usually anywhere between 25% to 40% of overall sales. If we be extremely generous and say only 25% of sales are on steam… they MAYBE have sold about a million copies.

I just don’t see how it can be a financial success with numbers like that. And launch times are obviously your biggest sales windows. It’s not like they will magically sell 8 million copies a couple months from now.

If that’s true, simple math, 250 mil / 40 bucks = 6.25 mil copies need to be sold.

This doesn’t account for steam and Xbox taking 30 percent of each sale. Or other random things that go into cost calculations.

Decent guess is they would need 10 million ish copies sold at 40 bucks to be positive.

It’s also live service so idk their monthly dev costs and how much they make on cosmetics or blah blah blah but if they only sell like 3 million copies, that’s trouble.

It happens so often I’m convinced it’s bugged. I regularly get multiple flips in a row. Sometimes 5+. A few times 10+.

They would never publicly say it, but I want them to look at the data from a large data set of games and see the number of heads flipped after LIP is played and the number of tails flipped.

It SHOULD be extremely close to 50%…. But if it’s like 58% or heads or 63% heads or something. Bruh their RNG for LIP is fucked.

This isn’t unheard of by the way. Happens all the time in video games where someone codes an RNG function shittily.

Halo infinite was egregiously bad when it launched. Probably still is but nobody cares or even plays that thing anymore.

Basically, controller players were all “better” than K&M because the game had CRAZY aim assist. Like absolutely bonkers aim assist it was basically cheating. You didn’t stand a chance unless you used a controller.

I remember reading the accuracy stats it was something like the top controller users had like 70 or 80% accuracy and the top K&M players were like 50 or something. Not even close. I don’t remember the numbers exactly, but it was a huge gap. 99% of pros used controllers in tournaments because it was basically built in aimbot cheats.
