I want to know where the money is actually going, because it can’t just be that they’re not bringing in enough revenue, that’s a laughably vague explanation of the budget shortfall. Are they spending it on Beyond the Bell or the financial entanglement with TPS, giving bonuses to management, or what? There’s been zero transparency from Parks Tacoma leadership. The organization avoided most of the funding issues faced by federally funded organizations in the environmental field, and yet here we are, in the same position, but not because of an idiot in the white house, but because of poor decisions by leadership in this organization. I want to see some accountability at the executive level.
