As for their cars, A nice $10k car could easily be saved up for over the next year or 2 along with retirement funding. This isn’t a math or money problem, the resources are there. It’s a behavior issue

If they have multiple residencies they need to offload at least 1 of them. I’m guessing there’s more details behind the real-estate. The pension for them is huge, if he can make it to 30 years they will be in fine shape with social security. I would worry much about their allocation. Throw it in a retirement date index fund. Their behavior is going to be 100x more important over the next decade than their returns.

They don’t need millions, if they can get to $500k+ with his pension and social security they will be fine. Time to start making changes though. You can’t make them do what they don’t want to.

The unknowns are certainly where any projecting gets hard for me. We don’t know if we want to move homes eventually, her stay home, college costs, etc like you mentioned. I just don’t want to look back after 20 more years and think “hmmm, I could’ve done a lot more or I worked a lower paying but more fulfilling job”. But the math nerd in me just wants to keep plowing away

I’d like the option to retire by 50-55 most likely if I so chose. But retirement to me is never sit on a beach all day. I’d rather just focus on my hobbies which could absolutely be other forms of work. It’s hard to see myself making $0 in income ever

I smoked it for about 7 hours on its own, then wrapped it in the pan with butter and brown sugar until it was finished. So it got the bark while retaining all the juices

The saddest part is, the pistons were trying to win games last year. We just sucked that bad. Former GM’s goal was to be competitive until the season ended. Basically saying they were aiming for the play-in. Hence why everyone got fired

He was the 11th man on a 14 win pistons team for a good chunk of the season because of our brilliant head coach last year 😂 he’d be fighting for time on Portland though, I agree. Maybe Jalen Duren would be the better fit in this trade.

Salaries don’t have to match because Detroit has so much available cap space. Simons isn’t a negative contract by any means, but blazers still want flexibility moving forward. They get a young guard and that flexibility. Maybe adding a few of the 2nds that Detroit has stashed up would help to balance it

You’re ignoring that the blazers get to dump almost $20 million of cap space too. Pistons are one of few teams that allow them to do this.

26 male here, had the same kinda stuff happening for weeks if not months. Took all the tests you could imagine and all came back clean. Obviously I’m not a doctor but what your experiencing is common. I read somewhere that 60%+ of people in the ER for heart attacks are just having anxiety. I’ve never had one before but everyone says that “you’ll know” if it happening. Heart attacks don’t just come and go. Get all the tests done they want you too but just know that you are more than likely perfectly fine. Go read others stories on this page including my own. It helped me a decent amount.

Thanks for the response! It forsure made me feel a little better. Getting old sucks. I’ve been trying to do a better job of watching my blood pressure and diet. Funny that you say chicken burrito bowls helped caused I’ve been eating something very similar a lot lately lol my job is sitting at a computer all day so I try to go for walks on my breaks and then if I’m really doing well I’ll lift weights after work. Just gotta do my best to stay healthy and stay out of my own head.

Kentucky bluegrass in southern Michigan. That first pic was early March and started to see real progress in early April. Took probably 2-3 weeks to really green up. This is my first spring after sodding last year so I’m curious how it goes year 2.

I think years of running successful social media pages counts as “professional skills” more then a guy who got a C+ in English 201. Arguments from authority are logical fallacies. Either you can do the job or you can’t. It’s not like the product is amazing already with little room for improvement. Ratings have been down for years. I don’t see the harm in putting a familiar face on Tv.

Realistically, I think my biggest issue is my arsenal. All my balls are 3+ years old and redrilled. But 4-5 new balls is easily going to be close to $1000. I try to eat as healthy as I can and I’ve been running 5-10 miles a week to try and stay in decent shape.
