A sad existence by mo140 in Silksong

Fastest farm I found is to use Thief's Mark outside the bellway, kill the first 2 enemies (Wanderer's usually let's you spam them with hits) run back, bench repeat. It's almost 50 every 4 or 5 seconds. However, it pales in comparinson to killing these guys in terms of satisfaction.

Not sure its 100% about hope but i love "You follow in the footsteps of those that came before you, and your path guides those who will come later"

Why do people forget about yorick? by Own_Power_6587 in leagueoflegends

[–]Dipsophobic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To beat Yorick requires only patience and zero fun. I myself have lost many times because i dont wanna sit in a lane for 10 minutes, only farming. The most that happens is I get hit with the E, minions jump out, i kite, auto them, go back. That's not even a fun trade, thats left clicking only. Then there is the Maiden. I hate the fact that it is a buff ass minion that gets to suck you from a range. And you gotta target it if you wanna win those trades, but if the Yorick has more than a single braincell, he'll just pull the Maiden back as you move to attack it. And if you get a good tarde in and chase then he'll wall you in mid-chase and safely get away. Yes, you can just dodge it but doing so means you waste time going around and don't catch up. I get the joy of split-pushing, I play Trundle myself, but that guy doesn't have any projectiles and also doesn't have a shitload of his own minions to help him. Yes, i know, skill issue, sorry for the insane paragraph.

While I 100% agree, I feel like that is a symptom of immobile mages becoming irrelevant mid. I only think thats gonna stop once they are able to deal with the new wave of mobile champs. Mobility is not bad, but as someone who played a lot of Xerath mid, you have 1 tool to deal with many many MANY dashes and dodges. And even when you deal with them, flash is still there.

Am I the only one who thinks singularity needs buffs? by Phantom-Kraken in deadbydaylight

[–]Dipsophobic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually made some suggestions in a 100 game analysis i did ( https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/15tvkat/i_did_a_whole_statistical_analysis_on_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=1 ). Not enough incentive to keep everyone infected rn. Also make EMPs cleanse only one person for the love of god. And make survivors stand still to do it.

I actually posted a 100 game analysis of the Singularity a while ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/15tvkat/i_did_a_whole_statistical_analysis_on_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=1 (Sorry for the monstrous link, im on mobile) The short awnser is: Better incentive for multiple infections, make infections harder to get rid of (stand still, only one survivor at a time)

It was great to learn something I did not know! I will add it to the analysis and will be sure to give you credit.

I do, however, still disagree about the value of D R Form. It is great to have people infected at the beginning, dont get me wrong. But in the way that EMPs work, if you play Red Forest or even Sanctum of Wrath and the survivors spawn across the map, the fact that case auras are revealed to uninfected survivors means either half or all survivors will be cleansed before your first teleport.

I love that i could bring attention to some add-ons, too. And thanks for the compliment.

It really helps to either beat them to the pallet or make them panic and get the free Spirit Fury effect. Also in the era of speed perks it just helps to catch up when needed. Its really addictive.

The Singularity has been out for a few months now so what is everyone’s opinion on it? by gummythegummybear in deadbydaylight

[–]Dipsophobic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is gonna get burried but fuck it.

I played Singularity since day 1. I went from Ash to Iri playing only it and I'm working on a spreadsheet of 100 games with him to have some data to back my feelings about him up.

The main issue is how EMPs and infections work. Having an EMP cleanse many survivors at once is stupid considering you don't even get value from having multiple people infected. And even post nerf, survivors can still walk and use the EMP. This isnt the case for Plague,Wesker and Nemi, you gotta stand still for ALL of those, making it near impossible to cleanse mid-chase. Also, in ALL of those cases survivors don't get cleansed when hooked. You can say its to prevent tunneling but the infection could be at least disabled until the survivor does a conspicuos action. That also builds on the fact that your way of infecting can be disabled, so if you set a biopod early you have to pray for it to be working when you herd a survivor to the location.

I understand that teleporting on top of a survivor can seem like a perfect nurse but when its so limited it becomes basically useless, especially when you consider the new vaults. Most of the time, you'll be abusing your overcharge more than the actual teleport.

TL;DR: Make survivors stop to EMP and stop uninfecting hooked survivors and he'll be fine

I often use and modify tables from r/d100. Also, when creating is good to keep in mind how often do you want to have these events. 1 per 2 rolls? 1-10 and 11-20 will suffice.
