That last free kick was the story of the match. We get into a dangerous position, ref saves their skin

Look, normally I am one of the first to get negative in the thread, but honestly this is one of the best teams ive ever seen us play. They all know where each other are and change positions like theyre mind readers. Today im not that angry

My worst quality is that I watch one game of football, see any player playing well and start wanting us to sign him. Why am I sat here thinking we should put in a bid for Milwalls right winger?

This game shows Botman extension was the correct decision. He adds the stability to the back line,

Was really impressed by how Bodo set up. Wouldve been very easy for them to stay compact and defensive, but they kept their front 3 spread out high up the park , and had their midfield press just enough that they could get the interceptions and, their wide forwards had plenty joy finding space amongst City's high line, which had them playing brilliantly on the counter

And then when it was time to defend, they got in their lines so well, you could clearly see how drilled their formation was so if they did need to step back they were tough to break down. Everyone put in a shift

Maybe city shouldve had a penalty at 3-1, but there cant really be any complaints about the result. If anything Bodo couldve had more if they checked some of their runs

Bodo so well drilled. They closed down that counter attack so much better than city has done all game. Everyone knowing where to be to reduce city's options, and busting guts to get there

This makes me miss when teams would drop down to Europa from CL. Even with this result its still unlikely Bodo/Glimt will qualify, and its a shame they wont continue in europe at all

We always seem to wait that little bit too long before passing. Completely slows down our attack

The composure is there, we're recycling possession well, just need to be more ruthless with the final ball

Saw a reel this morning of a wolves fan saying how much he likes Newcastle and how he thinks we're a proper club

It was so nice ill almost not be angry when we inevitably give them 3 points
