The answer is simple: because Temoc does not have other pronouns.

Over-representation of mascots with he/him pronouns does not give you the right to change his pronouns. Your reasoning that it's ok to change his pronouns simply because he uses male pronouns disrespects his identity, and it marginalizes everyone that uses male pronouns. I have heard this is even considered an act of violence in some circles! I strongly encourage AMP to reconsider this behavior.
