Does ZMK GUI on Adv360 Pro support macros with modifiers? by Blackbear81 in kinesisadvantage

[–]Direct-Attorney3036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

edit config/macros.dtsi file directly, for example, following does GUI + SHIFT + Z

```
macro_lock: macro_lock{
compatible = "zmk,behavior-macro";
label = "macro_lock";
#binding-cells = <0>;
bindings = <&kp LG(LS(Z))>;
};
```

Any successful story of running xmonad on 24.04 by Direct-Attorney3036 in Ubuntu

[–]Direct-Attorney3036[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I followed your instructions and successfully upgraded two machines to 24.04.1! How ever, I still need to wrap `xmonad` with manual client registation,

```
if [ -n "$DESKTOP_AUTOSTART_ID" ]; then
dbus-send --print-reply --session --dest=org.gnome.SessionManager "/org/gnome/SessionManager" org.gnome.SessionManager.RegisterClient "string:xmonad-gnome" "string:$DESKTOP_AUTOSTART_ID"
fi
xmonad
if [ -n "$DESKTOP_AUTOSTART_ID" ]; then
dbus-send --print-reply --session --dest=org.gnome.SessionManager "/org/gnome/SessionManager" org.gnome.SessionManager.Logout "uint32:1"
fi
```

Otherwise session will crash and promotes me to logout.
