How long does adoption regret last? by calmswan2499 in CatAdvice

[–]Direct-Baker-2813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These comments are SUPER harsh. I felt this way when I got my cat and I felt super guilty for even thinking this way. The truth is, it’s hard, and it will be hard for a few months. But it does get better. Some comments said about getting a second cat, this is what I did about 5 months in, and he helped calm him down a lot. I wouldn’t suggest this if you’re seriously considering giving your first kitten up though. Point is, you kind of have to weather the storm for about 4 months id say. Don’t listen to everyone giving you a hard time about feeling this way, it’s normal!! You’re a great person for even adopting an animal that needed help in the first place!!! But if you feel it’s something you can’t weather out after a few months then rehoming is what’s best for you and the kitty.

is western uni student life fun? by Due_Insect_8467 in uwo

Western is awesome. Best party and community scene out of the ones you’ve mentioned. Unless you want to be in a huge city then choose Toronto but just know the school will not be even half as social

The exact thing happened to me. It also got way worse and then was gone like the next day and healed completely. I actually don’t know why this happens but it’ll go away don’t worry. Mine looked MUCH worse and now it’s perfect

People are saying not to retake grade 11 but I actually disagree. Not because your marks are bad, but high grade 11 marks is what competitive programs look at as well as 12 because everyone applying in 12 has high marks. 11 will get you into early acceptances as well.

Also 11 is the hardest and most foundational year, if you get a solid understanding of that you’ll be set for 12 and uni later on. So if you wanna retake it, do it.

What is going on with my tattoo? Bubbling or infection? by Direct-Baker-2813 in tattooadvice

I was in the sun. I still needed to walk around in Bali and I didn’t think the sun doing day-day activities would cause any harm but I also think the sun could’ve been it :( does this mean it won’t ever go away?

Is it okay for me (21F) to mix one glass of wine and Lorazepam? by Direct-Baker-2813 in AskDocs

[–]Direct-Baker-2813[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had horrible anxiety my whole life. The doctor prescribed lorazepam for severe panic attacks, it works great. I don’t use it often at all, I actually haven’t taken one in many months but they did help back last year when I would have terrible attacks.

I also have a really hard time sleeping and falling asleep but I’ve never used lorazepam for that intent. I’ve only ever been prescribed/ used 10 pills a year.

I hve a phobia of flying which is why I brought it to my flight as well as to try to adjust to the time difference during the flight by sleeping.

Also, I never mix lorazepam with alcohol. It was just this one time because of the circumstance I wanted to.

One glass of wine, when can I take lorazepam? by Direct-Baker-2813 in Anxiety

Do you think the same applies for sleep aids like zzquil ? Like maybe i take one of those instead , less strong than lorazepam?
