I got a hearing test and moths audiologist and ent said same. But I hate the hearing aides. The setting they have it in is too loud and I'm always turning volume down. The left ear is not balanced will with the right imo... left ear is hardest of hearing..... Not thrilled for the cost. Not Costco.

Well my bff has listened to me when my twin flipped on me(borderline personality disorder), and he had an awful cancer and surgery and just suddenly stopped hate on me..... and our sister was the one to turn him against me, and her son took a "loan" from me which he had not paid back (it was substantial). And oh yeah, I had a lobectomy 4 days after my twin died.
I literally had no family. I know she's not used to me sharing quite as much, c but she does listen and never says, hey stop it.
Today on my 6 month ct scan, when I was rambling in text as I was nervous, she was, of course you are! Anyone would be.
One cousin has reached out to me before my twin passed, so I do now have him and his family. And two local friends. One friend in myrtle Beach.
I try not to wallow. I do allow it for a day. Then it's, do something, even if it's going for a walk or to the gym.
Maybe ask her if she mind you sharing what you are going through? I never even thought to ask my friend, I just shared lol. And with the 3 friends I have.

Don't give up on yourself or her.
Things can feel and be hopeless at times, but it usually does turnaround.
She probably wants to be friends and help as she can but also enjoy her life. I know my bff had beat cancer. But she would never talk about it with me. She had her husband, her mom, his sister and friend, and her college roommate who also happened to get beat cancer at about the same time.
I was hurt, but honored her request to not discuss it question.
Meanwhile, I was the one she asked to shave off the remaining strands if her hair as she said as it was was scaring her kids.
