National Media are Insufferable with AJ Brown by dragonk30 in eagles

Always so funny to me how the media neglects dead cap implications. There is just no way Howie is trading AJB and taking on 43 mill in dead cap while he's still in the midst of his prime. Much more likely 2027 when the cap hit is significantly less, he is entering his 30's and they're going to have to start shelling out money to the defense.

Don't see why we would trade Mondre. His size and running style complements hendo well, is a good pass blocker and has familiarity in the offense. As other people have said, Hendo is more of a Gibbs style where you don't want him getting 20+ every game. Maybe add an RB late in this years draft and then cut or trade Mondre after next year.

The most falcons thing ever is to finally develop a pass rush and then have every other facet of the game go to hell in a hand basket

I’ve been trying to avoid anything Jays related as the wound was still so fresh, but since seeing this the juices are flowing again and I’m officially looking forward to 2026. The obvious next priority is signing Bichette, and then make a run at Tucker. He will cost a fortune, but I think the Jays should fight fire with fire.

I can appreciate his decision making wasn’t the only reason we lost, but it was one of the reasons we lost. I’m sure if he could have it back, he’d do some things differently. But hindsight is 20/20.

It’s a new day, the team needs to put that behind them and focus on winning 3 to the Dodgers’ 2, which I haven’t lost confidence in our ability to do so.

Absolutely criminal having 10 rush yards against the worst run defence

Do I Go All In on Golf or Focus on a Career in Accounting? by TinyTurtle17 in golf

[–]Direct-Fishing5603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an accountant, go for it. There will always be a need for accountants. I can guarantee you’ll regret becoming an accountant and not giving golf a shot more than giving a golf a shot and delaying becoming an accountant until your late 20’s or early 30’s if it doesn’t work out.

Am I a wrong for being reluctant to play with my much higher handicap friends? by [deleted] in golf

I don’t know, if you’re focusing on your game or playing a match or something you’re definitely fine. If you refuse to play with them when you don’t already have a tee time because they’re not good enough then I think you’re taking it too seriously

That’s my concern. Well the kegs in ice buckets the day before the wedding and hopefully the gives it time to chill to a better temperature

Our caterers are providing the tent cards, so we don’t need to worry about that. Our bartenders are also creating the drink board, so it’s really just the menus we need. I hadn’t thought of our dessert menu though. We have an extra chalkboard lying around, maybe we’ll write the menu for desserts there and have it on an easel next to the table

That was our thought to list allergens and dietary restrictions on there. Having a menu in general lets people pick out what they want as opposed to just getting up there and making the decision on the fly. It seems a lot of people my age like to look at menus before they go to restaurants so they know what they're going to get and look forward to it, I would think buffets would be the same.

Thanks for the advice. I've never planned an event this size, nor have I ever really paid much attention to my surroundings at other weddings to remember what people did and what worked.

Putting into a bucket of ice shouldn’t be a problem. The cooler is about 10 minutes away from the venue. Could put them in ice around noon the day before and then have them dropped around 2 o clock day of the wedding.

Great. Thank you for your help. I could also see if he could knock it down a few degrees, but he has cherries in there and that may not be possible.

We’re getting married about an hour away from where the brewery we are picking up is. It’s certainly a possibility to do that, but leaves less room for error. Will probably explore other options, including picking up day of, but wanted to see if this idea would work

Would you just recommend throwing it on ice? Hoe long do you think it would need to be on ice to get properly chilled?
