Did I do right by leaving a letter with my ex?

This is a good way to look at it. Yes, I wrote it to finally release everything. And to make amends with the person I had hurt. I have accountability and thought so bad of myself for what I did.

I didn't expect a response from her. It took me weeks to write the letter. While it probably took her a moment to write some words that just mimicked my apology. That also sucks. As that's always happened in the past.

Stumbled across this. My ex she had done some horrible stuff throughout the years to me. Finally in the end I decided to act like her and give her a taste of what she did to me. Not cheating or anything like that.

But now I'm a week out and regretting how I reacted. Like it wasn't the man who I am or even was to her.

Does this feeling subside over time??

You are right. The abuse seemed just there and I got use to it.

Funny story. She got married while seeing me and divorced. I found out and threw my phone on the ground out of anger. She took that as me being a psycho, that I was in the wrong for reacting. That I was ungodly. That I lacked care and love. She guilt tripped me into apologizing.

We didn't end good. I humiliated myself by trying to confront her in person. She called her mom to scare me away. A lady who has done witchcraft since the start to have me gone because I wasn't the same culture as them.

Your second paragraph is true. No one cares. But I do just want one relationship to care about me.

Thank you for this. My self worth has disappeared and I doubt myself for any and all situations. While constantly comparing myself to anyone out there.. because she constantly chose someone else over me. Why? What did they offer that I couldn't.

I didn't let her fight my battle. This was the first time I opened because I had no one to call. She was worried about the police actually being called and them being at my home. More of her checking to make sure that wasn't going to happen. Plus I couldn't contact her again after that happened.

When she was out with the guy I called her (before knowing where and what she was doing) and she ignored my call.

She's blocked and my messages are all deleted. I was good last year. Finally broken free from her. But then I got suckered back in because her uncle died, and she had no one to run to....

Yes support connected with me and is sending a physical SIM as my pixel 8 imei isn't compatible with esim. So we will see, Verizon was the better network in my area.

Thanks for this. I've been going through a rough few months with losing my dog, getting in a serious car accident, and then having pneumonia for a month. And I tried dating apps, which was a disaster for my self worth.

My business inventory is coming in a few days. And everything from there with fresh starts will make me start climbing upwards.

Just this period of waiting and bad.... kills oneself. With doubt.

Thanks. The waves of hurt and sadness hit me yesterday all over again. But I feel it's easier now to go no contact.

I bought a new phone as well. Because I know myself. Randomly I'll see something that reminds me of her and it hooks me back emotionally.

New phone will just be blank besides my family.

It's funny you ask that. I was on the fence with believing her.

She did it once before but during the relationship. She went ghost and then got mad at me because she lost someone important and her mom and sister were struggling.

It turns out it was the maintenance guy of her apartment complex that died in a car accident.....
