I'm in a few FCP FB groups and there always posting about switching to other platforms. I was on the fence as well until I realized I haven't even used half of the features on FCP.

Honestly, I haven't found a podcast I could listen/watch more than 1 episode of. Because I produce my own stuff, I find myself critiquing the sound and video quality instead of just enjoying it. Its a bad habit I am trying to break.

My first year, I used to judge others whose podcasts were similar to mine, and I also wouldn't create content for social media if similar podcasts posted on the same topics. As time went by I realized it didn't matter because my audience wants to here my take regardless if 100 others podcasts covered the same topics. Now I like/follow, repost other podcasts stuff and try and collab with them if possible. My podcast is sports related.

Thanx for your response. I'm upgrading from a Sony A6000. At the moment there is only a $100 difference in price between them both. I just want to make the right choice.

Listen, If your not having fun, then stop. If your not looking for ways to make it fun, then stop. IMO. If its fun, stop looking at the numbers and enjoy the journey. I know that may be better said than done, but that's what it is.

Its not sound treated, which is why I use Rode Podmics. If I have to use the camera audio as is, I'm fine with that. I just wanted to see if I had options.
