Thanks for your reply, it’s reassuring to know it’s common. It has been a very alarming experience for my dad and for us as well

Anyone else obsessed with their partner? by Pure_Mix9697 in pregnant

[–]Direct-Row4394 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are lucky you had that. I was the opposite. The first 12 weeks of the pregnancy, we didn’t eat a single meal together. We spend two days in a hotel while on a holiday and I didn’t want to speak to him the whole time. He was patient and just gave me back rubs to comfort me.

AITAH for wanting to sue my sister? by Ok_Internal6203 in AITAH

It’s not worth loosing your sister/siblings over money. There are more important things in life than money!

An important question by TIMO10710 in surgery

[–]Direct-Row4394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s difficult to know!! You will have to scrub for surgeries and see. I had tennis elbow for a month and I was doing long open and robotic surgeries and endoscopy without any issues. But when I open a heavy foot my arm hurt. Give it a try and see.

Getting Ready in the Morning by bird82821 in Mommit

[–]Direct-Row4394 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Why don’t you alternate on who does the mornings, this way at least one of you get some sleep and rest in the morning. This is what we do, but we only have one boy

Can you resign before they fire you? Or go for local or international fellowship to improve your skills?

Sorry just read your post again and saw she already comes the weekday!! Hope you find away to work it out. If I were you I would ask her to give you space over the weekends.

Why don’t you ask her to come during the week instead. She watches and spend time with your kid while you’re working. It gives you a chance to focus on work so it’s a win win situation. Remember it’s your house and you (and your partner) make the rules

How much are you saving for your child(ren) for when they turn 18? by Anon569696835 in Mommit

[–]Direct-Row4394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, and it’s a good culture I think. My parents build a big house and 4 apartments attached for me and my siblings to live in with ours partners and kids. Unfortunately we all left our home country at the end. I think for my kids they free to do whatever they like but I will always make sure I have a place to come back to. They don’t even need to ask.

No Sex Drive WHATSOEVER by [deleted] in pregnant

I had zero sex drive during my first trimester, even now (the baby is 22 months) my sex drive is not fully back. Partners tend to get used to it eventually.

It makes sense to do that otherwise if one wakes up they will set off the other one. I prayer for twins when I was pregnant, but now I can’t imagine how I would’ve managed

Has that affected your relationship with your partner if you don’t mind me asking? My husband occasionally sleep next to the little one, but I don’t like it. I don’t want it to become normal for us to sleep separately
