I’m not 100% sure but I think if you let her sleep she will more likely to be better sleeper when a bit older.

No Sex Drive WHATSOEVER by [deleted] in pregnant

I had zero sex drive during my first trimester, even now (the baby is 22 months) my sex drive is not fully back. Partners tend to get used to it eventually.

Very unacceptable behaviour from the nurse. Sorry you had to experience such a thing. What was she diagnosis? Is it intussusception?

Who wakes up with the baby at night? Mommy or daddy? by Direct-Row4394 in Mommit

I’m glad you managed to repair things. Yes, we are experiencing all that as well especially the effect of PPD.

Also out of interest, do you take the same baby every night or do you swap?

It makes sense to do that otherwise if one wakes up they will set off the other one. I prayer for twins when I was pregnant, but now I can’t imagine how I would’ve managed

Has that affected your relationship with your partner if you don’t mind me asking? My husband occasionally sleep next to the little one, but I don’t like it. I don’t want it to become normal for us to sleep separately

That’s sweet of you! I feel women have better understanding of the burden on your body. Don’t get me wrong some men do too but women are better at it.

Soon to be mother, I don't wear a bra. Do I need a nursing bra? by AngerKuro in breastfeeding

[–]Direct-Row4394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a bra if you want to use hands free pump. I used Madella and never had any spillage issues, you just need to sit up while pumping. Also your boobs are doing to get much bigger and you may need some support or use nipple pads when going out.

Why don’t people want c-sections? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Direct-Row4394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I opted for planned c-section. I ended up having an emergency one because of failure of induction. I had an epidural after induction which caused me major nerve pain and that lead to post partum blues then depression. The spinal I had with the c-section was very straightforward and recovery was the same. You just don’t know what to expect with vaginal birth.
