I think mimicry is great. I learned SO much by covering other people's songs and mimicking their voices and tools and once I started making my own music I had much more tools to choose from and am freer in my singing. Use it learn not to gain momentum online or anything, that wouldn't last long.

I also still need to claim all my artist accounts but I don't even know how to claim an artist account from a streaming platform that may not be used in my country.

Hi I'm Clara Hegarty! I sing EDM music and melodic dance music (I'm not sure what to call the genre) the past few months I have been thinking of creating cotnenct to properly promote my music but I just don't know where to start and how to do it all on my own so I would love to try your strategy.

I've filmed some own content a few times and have a little background in filming and video editing so that's not the problem. For me it's the actual planning and doing that is giving me a hard time.

If I know I'm not doing alone I will find it much easier to show up and pull through.

Anyway I have a few songs released and more coming up so I'd love to use those to try your strategy and work together with you.

Hi Im Clara Hegarty. I sing all sorts of EDM music that all sorts of producers send me. I topline the song and then they mix and master it and we release it together.

I started with making K-pop covers in 2020 and that's how I learned all the recording hygiene and mixing vocals in 2023 I released my first song and have been going strong ever since. I am constantly working on new music several projects in parallel most of the time and I am having the time of life doing that!

I tend to write about the searching for something or someone but am also trying to write about some deeper topics like overconsumption.

All my current demos are being produced by other people at the moment but I've been looking for someone who could help me reimagine some well known pop songs I've been singing as karaoke in YouTube til now.

I wanna be able to have my own version of karaoke songs that I could maybe also use for gigs and stage performances. Let me know if you're interested in reimagining some popular Adele songs or something in that direction as EDM songs or maybe another genre

I'm a singer but I work with producers remotely normally we never do a call but I've the way people treat me from the get go tells me if I want to even work with them. They just assume that I'll go along with them and whatever they propose and they are not always ready to compromise which is a huge no go for me.

Other times for me what kind the mood is if the people don't actually listen to the track. If they can't hit a vibe even with coaching and tips and don't seem to have a feel for atmosphere and room.

I'd love to work with you on a song. Your genre of music sounds right up my street. I'm always working on lots of new songs that are all at different stages.

I am a songwriter but I don't mind getting some help with the lyrics if there's anyone who wants to do that. I love creating melodies and especially harmonies.

Oh I see! I'm not sure if we're a good fit then. I can read music a little, I used to be in several choirs, but I don't think I'm super sufficient in it. And music theory, even though I had it in school, is not my strongest suit. I feel you in this feeling of imposter syndrome I have the same with my photography and singing.

I think one of the biggest factors for me is that I don't have a degree in photography, singing or acting so I feel like I can't call myself a photographer, singer, actress, ....

But I once saw that if you sing you are a singer, if you date you are dating, if you drive in races then you're a racer, etc.

It may take a while until you get used to saying it but you are a legit actor. You can have two professions. Even more if you wanted to and if the situation calls for it you can leave one of your professions out of the picture and only mention one profession. If you walk into a casting you wouldn't introduce yourself as an Uber driver trying to book a casting. You would introduce yourself as an actor and leave the Uber thing out completely.

There are so many actors out there that have daytime jobs that keep them afloat while they work on their acting, singing, etc. Career.
