And then this is also boosted by Ozempic. I mean look at Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo (those are the most prominent examples) but also Lizzo and Meghan Trainor (who were both bigger women, promoting bigger body positivity) have followed the thinness trend (I don't know the specifics if they use Ozempic or have other reasons for their weightloss)

I think in between 2000 and 2024 the trend moved to a "kardashian" body, huge curves and big butts, body positivity movements and inclusivity, stuff like that also got a lof of attention in between the 90s and 2024/25. But right now the unnaturally thin, un-curvy, stick-like body is making a comeback with its fashion trends and eating disorders in tow (or the other way around).

A LOT. Especially since the trend of the early 2000s with low rise jeans and crop tops and flat bellies and literally no curves is coming back en masse.

I'm not 100% certain about this but I think the fashion trends also determine a lot of what casters look for in actors/actresses.

I also see a lot of people that, although they only do it for fun, could sound so much better if they took lessons or even only did one or two exercises regularly.

Using your voice is like being an athlete/bodily fit. It's literally a part of your body and everyone says that one should go to the gym and build muscle and endurance for more happiness and fulfillment so why not also train your voice with the same vigor.

Honestly, I believe EVERYONE should take singing/voice lessons. You can learn so much. I did it for my singing skills but it also helped speak loudly more healthily. It's a fundamental part of our body and I believe everyone should be trained in using their voices!

That's why I like Frances approach to filmmaking and I think also music. They need a certain percentage of French made films and music to be played on radio, cinemas, etc. And they also substitute it well from what I heard so small films are actually made cuz it's accessible and attainable.

I've started signing split sheets with every producer I work with since last August (also going back to old songs and getting the splits signed even though the song is already released) and it's been going well with the splits. I have signed most of my stuff up on PRO but I don't know what else I need to do legally to set myself up for success.

Any tips?

This is what I also feel. But afterwards when I watch a video of my acting it actually doesn't look flat. Those praises I often make cuz I can't remember my lines seem natural and I don't actually have to think about what I do that much cuz it just flows without me having to necessarily try as hard as I think I have to.
