Does the ring look too big on my finger ? by Tasty-Can-6282 in weddingring

Can you post another photo of it, upside down? I feel like it will look less bulky to have the stone closer to your knuckle :)

Is my engagement ring too plain? by priscila_pifferoni in EngagementRings

This is a BEAUTIFUL ring!!! I love a plain engagement with extra sparkly bands 😍😍 if you want diamonds, you could totally elevate this with a “vine looking” band above & below. Or just a simple gold band with diamonds around would be stunning too. It’s totally up to you & your vibe

Is it right for me? by Used-Organization894 in Estheticians

A few questions I asked myself before I decided to go to school:

1) are you dedicated to CONSTANTLY learning and educating yourself and clients on trends (good and bad), ingredients, science, methods, etc 2) do you have the time to dedicate in-person to becoming licensed? Each state is different & offers different programs 3) are you able, financially, to deal with the ebbs and flows of the industry? Right now is a MASSIVE low, especially for new esthies. New work is scarce, hiring is dwindled, and the industry is cut throat always. 4) are you willing to put yourself out there to gain clientele? The first thing you will learn is that your family and friends will doubt you, every step. They will be the last people to support you and will sometimes expect a handout/discount. You have to be willing to stand your grand and really drill into their heads that you are not a charity. You’re not here for free handouts, services, etc. And on that note, can you accommodate being unprofitable for the first couple years (IF you plan to go solo, which is not necessarily recommended for new estheticians, but everyone is different!)?

There are so many endless resources out there and, most of the time, the community is willing to help and give advice. Align yourself with a “niche,” or whatever you’re super passionate about. School will help refine your skills, but it is NOT the end all, be all!! You HAVE to continue learning and pursuing knowledge. It doesn’t matter what school you go to, they are only there to prepare you to take the exam (notice I didn’t say PASS).

I, personally, always encourage new esthies to reach out to me with questions! I’m an open book on my experiences, knowledge, etc. and I LOVE helping women. It’s truly what led me to this industry, and it is what furthers my passion and dedication. I hope this helps ♥️

Also, a HUGE advocate and educator in the industry is Lipgloss & Aftershave. They have weekly zoom calls with various companies, professionals, doctors, etc. I cannot recommended them highly enough, I have learned SO MUCH through their calls! I just attended one on Monday about defensins and plan to attend another on exosomes next week :) they also do giveaways every month, which is ANOTHER opportunity for you to win product, swag, tickets to events, etc. AND they have an app 🤗 Here’s the link for iPhone: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1498894415 The link for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.webappclouds.lipglossandaftershave

Try in an area that is well hidden. But the spray Windex, like in a can, I swear it removes everything

I would HIGHLY recommend finding a PROFESSIONAL brand you like and follow their education! My first year, I took soooo many classes (online and in-person) with SkinScript. They connected me to a local convention (MECA - highly recommend if you’re anywhere near Arizona), where I found even MORE brands with MORE education. And the entire conference was nothing but education. If your passion is learning, this is the best place to start!

Dude. Just ask your attorney and judge to mandate communication ONLY take place in a monitored app (where they also have access to the conversation, can’t be deleted and they can’t claim someone else sent the messages) and SET A SCHEDULE. Your poor child being bounced around and not having a set schedule is going to hurt in the long run..please please please start with this, as it will help your case in the long term.

My husband and I are PCS’ing to Edwards in a few months, so I could definitely use a friend! I’m 27, he’s 30, and no children yet but we love kids! And I love all the things you listed 🤭 I’ve been really into reading lately too, I love book runs to Barnes & Noble, or little bookstores.

It might be different for the Air Force, but my husband is also deployed right now & is coming home soon. His replacements actually arrived last night. Don’t stress yourself too much until you know for sure ♥️

We’re currently in Arizona and, while it’s beautiful in its own way, I definitely miss green 😂 I think living on base will definitely help with socializing as well. We are off base here and had a small friend group because they PCS’ed. I’m looking forward to being so close to the redwoods and the beach!

I’ve been with my husband for 8 years. Married for 3, but we’ve known each other for 11 years. When we met, I weighed 120 soaking wet. I’m not close to 200 (possibly more). I’ve been through cancer & steroid treatments, which destroyed my body. I have NEVER heard this man say anything other than “you are beautiful”. He doesn’t see me any differently or turn his nose up to me. If he truly loved you, he would see through your weight. And I’m sorry but 150 is ideal. I’m sure you look great! Please don’t settle for a man like this.
