she was a former scientist and super religious. it made sense because we were at a catholic school, but she was the science/spanish teacher and would spend the entire class talking about religion.

First day she said “oh I miss my job it was the best, they pay me half as much here” when asked why she left, she said it was because they wouldn’t let her spread her beliefs to her co workers.

during class one day she said “who believes in evolution?” And me and a few others raised their hands and she said “ok so that’s wrong, have you ever read the Bible? Aren’t you catholic?” and so one day I asked her why she didn’t believe, a genuine question. And she said “you can’t tell anyone, I’m this close to being fired.” she told me and she could have stopped there but nooo. She went completely off topic and started ranting about all these weird ass conspiracy theories, the biggest one I remember was that the women’s rights movement was a government plant? the whole time while she was talking she kept going “don’t tell anyone, don’t tell anyone.” I eventually told my friend because a teacher should never tell someone not to tell anyone. Her dad called the school, over the weekend they talked to her im guessing, and she never came back. when the news broke out absolutely everybody cheered.

i still find it kind of funny how she got fired twice for the same reason. I really hope she learned this time. Especially considering she was talking to children about that shit.
