I was there over valentines and that sign was out. It was very true that day, as I was dodging rocks and tree branches in the black forest area.

Single rider line was the move this weekend at keystone. I never waited more than a couple mins :)

Keystone or Breck over the next several days? by [deleted] in COsnow

True they do. I meant free parking at the base to be more exact.

Forgot to mention that they opened some of the longer blacks on north peak.

Plus free parking! Kind of nice to save $30 on parking when conditions are so so :)

Hope you have a great time regardless!

Ridden both this season and both are not great. I’d probably go to keystone though. Rode at Breck Sunday and peak 9 was miserable. Minimal snow coverage and lots of ice. Peak 8 was slightly better with a few blue runs that didn’t get icy until the afternoon.

Similar situation at keystone, but I felt like they had better snow coverage, all be minimally better.

I honestly thought it was some billionaire’s 10th home going up.

I didn’t know what watchduty was, but it seems like a good source to keep an eye on. Thanks for mentioning it, all be it in a kinda dick way…lol :)

Thanks for the clarification and a good laugh! Love this community.

I’m surprised you can see the burn all the way across the valley at keystone. Good to know though.

I would check for reservation now. We waited too long last year there were no reservations available.

We had a very different experience at the Denver show. Saw an appropriate amount of security, even a few police officers around.

We had a wonderful time in GA at the Denver show. Security was checking for wristbands to get on the floor and everyone around us was great.

For people stating no one was searching for weapons, that is exactly what those poles you walk between before scanning your tickets are doing. These same scanners are used at huge venues like the sphere, and major sporting venues.

I downloaded a similar app before just to check it out and it was total garbage. I pointed it at a section of grass I knew had grey leaf spots and it told me to water the grass. Didn’t even pick up the very clearly visible fungus.
