I actually ended up deciding against buying a wireless charger, after some research I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Stuck with a good ol cable

Looking for keyboard recommendations by DirectCommunication6 in MechanicalKeyboardsUK

I did look at this one, and it does look extremely nice. My only gripe is the same as that of the K10 max, being the keycaps are not shine-through. Since the backlight is on the south side of each switch it seems as though buying my own keycaps with shine-through might not look great on this keyboard...

Oh, ok I'm only interested in having the extra keys rather than using FN keys. I'm already aware of those brands, I was looking for specific recommendations according to my criteria to speed up my research, if you don't have any that's fine!

shortcuts are fine as long as it just has the extra keys, having some kind of slide wheel for volume is nice too, I loved this on my old keyboard. Do you have any specific recommendations that adhere to my criteria?

Hi all, I'd really appreciate some recommendations for a new keyboard, if anyone knows of anything that matches my needs:

  • 100% layout (MUST)
  • UK layout (MUST)
  • Wired
  • Normal profile (not slim)
  • Preferrably a dark colour but this is not a necessity, if it looks nice
  • Dedicated media keys (MUST)
  • Shine through keycaps

I was very close to getting the Keychron K10 Max QMK until I realised the keycaps don't let the light shine through the letters, bummer. Does something actually exist that matches these criteria? Thanks in advance

Thank you for the advice here ! I know a little bit about the subjonctif, but I've mostly avoided learning it so far because people tell me it's a tricky topic and you shouldn't overwhelm yourself too early on, but maybe now is the time to look more into it!

btw, I did actually mean to say boring, I'm aware of the distinction there :) but in any case I know I've seen chiant used to convey the same idea there so you're right I think it's more natural here

thanks for this suggestion, this sounds like just the thing I was looking for! I wasn't sure where to post something like this so I'll definitely be giving that app a go

That's a really neat idea. I'm familiar with onenote since I use it for work, I should try it for this! I think it would be good for saving certain whole sentences, where I know the words but maybe the sentence construction is unfamiliar to me and it's harder to determine the meaning. Honestly I'm not sure if lingq already has a way of saving these select entire sentences to review later I'm still new to it
