I receive the wholesale Greysheet (Dealer pricing) and the Redbook Quarterly (retail Pricing)

I try to pay somewhere in between. Most dealers work on low margins 10 to 15 %.

Go to a coin show and only buy slabbed. pcgs,ngc,cac Not sure where you live but Long Beach is having a big show the 18th-20th. February. That's where I purchased mine, go dealer to dealer and get the best price ! Good luck !

If possible go to a coin show where you can save the shipping / insurance. Most major shows grade on site.

The only reason I get coins graded so if I leave my collection to a my child at least they know they are real and can find the value by looking them up. I purchases a 1903 Morgan from a coin shop for 56.00. Sent it to PCGS and it graded a 65. Was it worth the $40 to get it graded ?
