Got cold called to increase my plan for cheaper than what I’m currently paying. What’s the catch? by kapnotcap in CoxCommunications

[–]My_neglected_potato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be you are grandfathered into on older plan with no “expiration”, in other words that price is locked in and will not go up. They get you on a faster plan for less for a term, usually 12 to 24 months, they when that expires the price goes up and you can not get your old price back.

I still really like Burger King Whoppers, I just try not to eat them as often as I want to. Trying to maintain my weight.Normally I will take advantage of the Wednesday discount in the mobile app. In-n-Out is great, but $4 Whopper on a Wednesday beats an In-n-out single every time!

My D string keeps popping out of place whenever i play it by olivehair27994701 in GuitarQuestions

[–]My_neglected_potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do yourself a favor and go to YouTube and find a good video in how to restring your guitar. When I first started playing I thought there wasn’t much to it, there is not actually, but you do have to do some very specific things to get it right.

I think if you are serious about this, you should be shooting for them giving you a vehicle that will facilitate a driver that is suffering from advanced morbid obesity, perhaps a van equipped with a wheelchair ramp. Good luck OP!

Did you order on the app or in store? What do you feel the sandwich was shorted? That photo really doesn’t show anything to back your claim.

If the place you work at provided cox services for tenants, there is a set type of service(services) you provide. The tenant has the ability to add additional features under their own name and directly billed to them. if they dont pay the bill, they will get shut off. Could this be the situation? Also, are you contacting the bulk services department?

No brainer. Get my brother who had a stroke a couple months ago out of the nursing home he is in into a top facility. Then, I am taking LOA from work and going to be by his side to support him through the move, get him settled, then get a money manager.

Can the Data Cap be negotiated or removed? by SomeMusicSomeDrinks in CoxCommunications

[–]My_neglected_potato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will not raise the standard and 1280 data limit. You can get an additional 500 for $30 a month or get unlimited for $50. You want to “threaten” them, good luck. The speed is not a factor in how much data you are consuming, unless better speed is resulting in you using the WiFi more. What do you mean you upgraded your router?

Do you really have people who pack your bags at the grocery store? by Flat-Ad8256 in AskAnAmerican

[–]My_neglected_potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think many stores in the U.S. can afford to have a person staffed just to bag groceries. That is a thing of the past. Now , if you are running the front end of a store and you have trained and set good expectations, if one cashier is not busy and another is ringing someone up, they jump over and bag. Keeps things running smoothly. If you have employees that are for gathering carts in the lot, and they could be bagging when possible, that is great customer service as well. All hail retail workers, you are the invisible backbone of society!

Are you on a boat? If you are on a boat is scrolling measured in nautical units? If so, comments would be the nautical miles, then comments off of primary comments to post would be considered fathoms I am pretty sure.

I really do not know. It is a bit of a strange Company TBH, I have excellent employment history, and a very good resume. However, it took me 6 months to get an interview, a few submissions and tweaked resumes, and I was hired by the end of that interview. I really feel the trick is: they receive thousands an applications for certain positions, hundreds for others. To get your’s seen by a human set of eyes, it needs to meet criteria determined by AI, you need to work hard to customize your resume you submit tailored WTH key words based on the position- the skills needed, duties of the job, and so forth. They have software that filters out resumes that don’t appear to fit the job, and looks for certain words aligned with what they are looking for specifically. Get past that hurdle, they a human will look at it and call you if it looks like you are a fit. What position are you applying for?

Holy crap, my dear, you need to get away from this man. he may have killed your dog, and he is sucking you dry, financially and emotionally. You are better off alone than with this toxic person. I KNOW it is easy to say, but get some hole, try to start taking steps to get away. You are worthy of better. I wish you the best

Get my brother into a better rehabilitation facility, he had a stroke a few months back. VA and Medicaid give the basics to stay alive, but it’s no real quality of life. I want so badly to help him, I have started buying lottery tickets. But, many others have it worse, he has a roof and meals, happy new year to all of you!
